Located in a very calm locality surrounded by wood vines and meadows, this house of 60 m² with floor includes 3 bedrooms for 5 people, 2 double beds (180x200, 140x200) 1 single bed, air-conditioned living room, TV, DVD, CD player, internet access, American kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, oven with grill and spit function, combined freezer, bathroom and laundry area with washing machine and dryer. Courtyard, garden furniture, green area, barbecue, garden shed.

This old residence shares its geographical location, you will discover Bordeaux city classified UNESCO heritage, Saint Emilion medieval city its vineyards and landscapes also classified UNESCO heritage, Gironde and its estuary, the Arcachon basin , the dune of Pyla, Bergerac and all of Périgord, or Duras and its Castle as well as all the old Bastides of Guyenne.

In the village, 1 km from the house, you will find a range of local shops including: restaurant, grocery store with bread, tobacco-press with postal services, beauty treatment salon and hairdresser.

Depending on the season, you can practice activities such as canoeing (on the Dordogne at 1 km), swimming and other nautical activities (Lac de la Cadie at 5 km), tennis (at the village at 1 km), ULM, mountain biking, horse riding, wine tourism circuit, hiking or exploring caves and underground passages.

a quiet retreat in lovely Pessac

we had a lovely stay in this cottage, it's in a quiet location but very near a good restaurant. The host couldn't be friendlier, we had everything we needed (the drier for the laundry was a nice plus). Bergerac, Bordeaux, Perigeux etc are all in easy range, the view of the vineyards amazing. A lovely house in a superb area to spend your holiday.

We had a pleasant stay in this home, it is close to the wine yards of Saint Emilion. Also Libourne is a nice town to visit. The house was fully equiped and clean. The owner is a nice and helpfull person.

The property is beautiful has everything you need. We really appreciated the air con as it was in the forties when we were there. Antonio was lovely and on hand if we needed. We visited some gorgeous places and really enjoyed the Palma Nova restaurant on the quay. We would really like to come back as in a week we couldn't visit everywhere we wanted. So we might return Antonio!!

Ruhiges Haus auf dem Hügel

Antonio begrüßte uns sehr freundlich und führte uns durchs Haus. Uns fiel gleich die sehr steile knarrende Treppe auf, ansonsten liegt das Haus zwischen zwei anderen an einer steilen Sackgasse. Am Haus führt einer der Wanderwege vorbei, die sich hier durch die Gegend ziehen.Im Shop im Ort gibt es täglich frische Croissants und Baguette, andere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar! Touren bis zum Atlantik sind machbar

Comfortable gite

Very clean pleasant gite offering a spot opposite it to rest. Nothing special to do in the closed surroundings apart canoë but great base to explore a little further: Dune de Pilat and bassin d’Arcachon, Bordeaux the oenologue tour is interesting including testings, Montbazillac and Saint Emilion without missing the historique part of Bergerac. Very good holidays week. The owner is very cheerful.

Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire. Logement fonctionnel avec Terrasse. Cuisine très bien équipée. Environnement bucolique. Un seul désagrément: chambre trop chaude sous les toits avec petite fenêtre qui s'ouvre à peine. Il faut dire que la météo s'est envolée. Merci pour le séjour et la belle région vinicole de Castillon à Saint-Emilion.

Tranquillité et confort

Location très agréable, confortable et bien équipée. Très bien située dans un lieu-dit très calme. La climatisation permet d avoir une température plus que supportable dans le logement quand l'air extérieur est très chaud. Le petit jardinet devant la maison est pittoresque. Antonio est accueillant et disponible. Je recommande cette location.
