Quiet cottage in a great location
My third stay at 2 Museum Cottages. A nice quiet location, ideally situated for everything in Sheringham. There is no parking at the property but there is lots of street parking nearby, no need to pay for parking.
The cottage is small but has everything you need for a few days stay, beware of the sensitive smoke detector in the kitchen area!

Perfect little cottage for solo travellers.
This is the second time that I have stayed & it has been perfect both times.
The cottage is ideally located for shops, beach & coastal walks.
I walked to the National Trust Park, did a few trails & took the coastal path back to Sheringham. I also walked the coastal path to Cromer, beautiful views.
It was great to come home to a warm & cosy cottage. The bed was super comfy & there is nothing about the accommodation that I could find fault with.
I'll be back again in the Autumn.

Great location, Value for money
I stayed at 2 Museum Cottages for a week whilst performing at Sheringham Little Theatre a short walk away. The place was clean, comfortable and caters well for one or two people. The kitchen was well equipped and there were no issues with our stay.
May not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to the narrow, steep staircase and small nature of the property.
We parked in Morris Street Car Park a short walk away with no issues.

Cute but basic
Cute, tiny cottage, perfectly located for shops and beach. It's basic but perfect for a single or couple who don't expect anything fancy. Also dog friendly which is a must for me.

Cosy little cottage
Brilliant location just off high street close to pubs, restaurants and other amenities
Comfortable bed but steep stairs to access 1 st floor
Living area very small and sofa not the most comfortable
Perfect for a short stay when using cottage as a base
We stayed here for 6 nights the cottage was comfortable, clean and central to all amenities, a lovely stay, having never been to north Norfolk we only stayed for a short while but what a mistake wish we’d booked for longer, will definitely have longer next year and hopefully in 2 museum cottages. Thank you for a wonderful sta.

Nice little cottage
Lovely and cosy little cottage, just right for our stay. Great facilities and well stocked with all you need (except kettle descaler!). It is a nicely presented, neat and comfortable. Could do with a couple of hooks perhaps on the side of the fridge for the tea towels in the kitchen area and a lamp around the settee / telly area would be a nice alternative to the bright ceiling lights and also a blind at the bathroom window would be good.
The neighbours opposite could do with being asked to be a little more considerate by not keeping their flood lights on all night and to stop slamming their gate every time they go through it (which is a lot).
Sheringham is a great base for fantastic birding along the coast. 2 Museum Cottages is a lovely quiet place to stay, although in the town centre.
This time of year the cottage is a bit dark, but would be more cheery in the summer. Although small, the cottage has everything you need for a great stay.

Very sweet mini cottage
Very well located, close to shops and the beach. The place is small but perfect for me and my dog. The bed was SO comfy, and the kitchen well kitted out. The only downside is that it's quite dark and gloomy downstairs, it could be made cosy with a few minor touches.
It's a cute cottage and very peaceful, in a traffic free, quiet lane. I liked it a lot.
