great location but expensive

On a triple A location in picture perfect fishing village Calella de Palafrugell. Just a few minutes by foot from the beach with a communal swimming pool. You know what you pay for but for this money wifi and airco should be basic essentials!. Although ground floor it was still too hot at night without airco. At night to much noise from the garbage truck emptying glass containers that are located just across the street from the appartement. All was clean and neat but cheaply renovated with Ikea and a lick of white paint which peeled off just the minute you took a shower. Toilet doesn't flush well but was going to be fixed. All is there to have a convenient holiday like a terrace, a garden where you can have a bbq on our bbq we bought. Also the 2 bathrooms is a big plus when you are with a family with kids. Mattresses were very hard. I would come back IF they install airco and wifi.
