Thank you for your thoughts about Lozeau Lodge, we enjoyed your visit, and hope to see you again on future trips here. We are always pleased when we know our guests have enjoyed the property and the cabins, and we strive to make every visitor feel welcome and at home here, and when we succeed, it makes our day. Annie
Very cute. Comfortable beds. Wish there was a full kitchen, only refrigerator and microwave.Annie is a sweetheart, very accommodating. I’d love to work on her landscaping. So much potential. We’ll be back.
We loved our stay at the cabin. Beds were super comfortable, shower stayed warm (for all 7 of us) with great pressure and was quite. and Annie was a perfect host! Thanks for the wonderful weekend!

It is such a pleasure to have the pleasure of wonderful guests who visit this little place each year, and you all are counted in that group. You are welcome here any time. Thanks, Annie
The cabin was exactly as described, and the owners were very nice and quick to respond when we needed anything. There was a nice little walking trail that the kids loved.
The only cons of the cabin were the noise from the highway and trains, and that the only ways to cook are a microwave and toaster (no fire pit either).
Overall a great cabin for the price!

Thanks for the review. Some things cannot be remedied, such as noise from trains and so forth; however, some guests find that to be charming or romantic. Each cabin has a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot and toaster, however for more serious cooking efforts, a cook surface, and griddle for making flapjacks is available located in the public area under the covered pavilion, as well as a full sink and refrigerator, and most any cooking utensil needed, as well as a BBQ grill we make available upon request and a fire circle located in the pasture away from the structures; however, we are constrained to making fires when allowed by the Montana Forest Service mandates due to the danger of starting wildfires in the area during certain times of the year. We hope this information is helpful, and we welcome feedback at all times to help us improve your experience here.
Annie and Bill were very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed talking with them and getting tips about where to go. The cabin was clean and had what we needed. Plenty of space to roam around and if your a runner there are some side roads to run on. It is near a train track and not far off the highway.

Thank you, Enrique. I hope you get to come for a visit sometime in the future too.
We enjoyed our stay after a somewhat disappointing check in and first night of rough sleep due to train. I appreciated having dishes and utensils available but did not expect to have to dig for them in boxes in a common area. Also, the WiFi signal did not reach our cabin, so used a combo of the host’s dining room and my hotspot. Other than this, the cabin is very comfortable with quality beds, bedding, AC and walking path for our dogs. With a few tweaks, I think this cabin would be 5 star.

Thank you for a thoughtful review. We have enjoyed our retirement years here on this little piece of Heaven in Western Montana and as always, it has been our goal to strive to make everything as comfortable and pleasant for guests as we are able to do while still enabling them in accessing the available amenities so as to allow them the privacy and independence expected on a Montana get away vacation.

Perfect Montana stay
Our cabin was very charming and scenic. Apple Maps led us off astray and all it took was a simple call to the owners and they led us right to their place, easily. Watching the stars at night was breath taking and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
We had a great weekend here. The host was very responsive to our needs and questions and really works hard to make your stay enjoyable. Beds were comfortable, cabin was cleaned and air conditioned. Very nice. My only drawback is that we were never able to connect to facility internet so that was misleading, but go and get away from it all! You’ll be glad you did.

Thank you for the nice comments, and we hope you get to come again. Our internet provider is Blackfoot Internet Services, and we provide it free here on the property; however, we are not in control of the service its' self, but we have installed boosters in every cabin to try to increase reception. I hope that helps. As always, we try our best to make our guests comfortable. Annie and Bill

Montana visit
We really enjoyed our time in Montana. Bill and Annie were wonderful host. They certainly went above and beyond. Annie made cupcakes and bread and Bill made a pot of chicken vegetable soup that tasted wonderful. I would not hesitate to stay again.

If you are looking to relax and explorer near by, this is the place for you
I stayed here with my two boys, ages 10 an 15 years old and a chocolate lab. Our hosts were more than welcoming. They made a nice fire for us each evening and spent time talking with us. You can tell they defiantly love their property and that can be seen by the well cared for garden/cabins etc...
My boys and I would wake in the morning and relax for a bit, then we would pack up in the car and just drive down the freeway and take each exit and explore the area. we found several ares we stopped to swim in and an interesting overpass that seemed to be started to be built but was never finished
We spent a day in Missoula, if you go to the carousel for Missoula you will find the Dragon Hallow Play area which was a blast and then walk along the boardwalk where you will find locals water surfing

More than we hoped for
We had a wonderful stay at the Lozeau Lodge. I was there with my kids, as well as a friend and her two kids. The hosts are incredible. They really made us feel like family. My daughter reflects lovingly on her time here often. Great location, just off the freeway but feels remote. The new wedding venue is lovely as well. We spent a lot of time hanging out because it was lovely and inviting.

About the host
Hosted by Annie Bee and Bill
Besides the beautiful and well appointed vacation cabin, a beautiful convenient covered pavilion we call the Wedding Barn, with lighting, ceiling fans, heaters and kitchen prep area to have gatherings, meetings, weddings family reunions, or just to hang out while enjoying your cabin on the property or for special events.
Innkeepers of this lovely property since 2010. We began work on the project with a lot to do, and called it "taming the wilderness" for the first year or so, but with a lot accomplished, we now have a first class property that we can take pride in sharing with guests and visitors. Perfect for everyone looking to get a way from the stress of city life and looking for a respite. We welcome you.
Why they chose this property
Enjoy the vacation cabin that has all modern amenities, or make use of the pavilion for any special event, such as family reunion, class reunion, church retreats, meetings, anniversary dinners, weddings or any other event where tables chairs and floor space is needed. We consider this property a "little piece of Heaven" because it is so ideal and naturally beautiful, surrounded by National forest views, and close to the famous Clark Fork River. We feel blessed to be the Innkeepers of this lovely destination and love to share its amenities with our visitors.
What makes this property unique
Our new Covered Pavilion with chairs, tables, prep area and refrigerator is ready to be used for special events to accommodate many guests, for weddings, and reunions, retreats, anniversary parties, informational meetings and more. Location close to the Clark Fork River, and close to the Hiawatha Biking Trail, as well as the Alberton Gorge, which is a premier rafting location, as well as being convenient to two different airports and to Missoula and three smaller towns in our county make this an ideal location to get away yet not have to travel under maintained roads to get to it. On this property, we have our very own walking trail, a very nice fire pit, two organic gardens as well as several picnic areas and flower gardens, as well as areas where nature is allowed to remain pristine. Wildlife is a big part of the experience with two types of deer, some bear activity, and many birds, including raptors and song birds, as well as smaller animals making up the wildlife of our area. Great fishing to be had within an easy walking distance from the Lozeau Lodge, and views of the historical one lane bridge with the Osprey nest sitting atop it, where at least two young are raised each year.
