Lovely, spacious modern villa (120m²) with 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, 3 WC’s and brand new 6.5 x 4 m private swimming pool. Located in the popular Mediterranean town of Valras Plage, the superb child-friendly beaches are only a short walk from the front door with sailing, windsurfing, paragliding, jet ski, beach volley-ball, children’s club, organised beach sports. Sleeps 8 in comfort (2 double, 2 twin rooms), 2 bathrooms, 3 WC. Swimming pool compliant with child safety regulations. Outdoor shaded terrace with BBQ at front for dining and breakfast, sun terrace at back. Sunbathing terrace with grass overlooking pool.
The villa is Wifi enabled with flat screen TV with French channels and Freesat for UK channels.
All bedrooms fully refurbished with new wardrobes and chests of drawers in all bedrooms.

Comfortable accommodation, superbly equipped with all modern conveniences including dishwasher, ceiling fans and shutters. Designated ‘playroom’ with TV, video and ‘Playstation’ games. Private parking, fully enclosed garden / terrace. Swimming pool with large terrace for sunbathing. Separate shaded terrace when the sun gets too hot. Large, bright living / dining room (35.5m²) with dining table and chairs, comfortable seating, TV, ceiling fans, patio doors to front terraces and pool. Further patio doors to rear terrace and garden. Fitted Kitchen with dishwasher, electric oven, induction hob, microwave, electric griddle. Utility room with fridge freezer and washer. Iron etc. Separate WC with hand basin. Separate Bathroom with WC, shower and hand basin. High chair provided.

Fantastic location and property for a family vocation, properly is clean and fully equipped for everything from cooking to washing facilities. Pool is an excellent facility and the outdoor areas are well split so shade is available all day if needed ! Only one negative is there’s no air conditioning at this property as it has ceiling fans ! But I still give it 5 stars .

Perfect Location

We were looking for a comfortable holiday, near to the beach and all amenities, yet quiet and private and that's exactly what we achieved by renting this villa in June. The villa is comfortable and well-equipped for self-catering. All the outdoor facilities are great, particularly the pool - but also the shower room, the extra fridge, the sunbathing area and the undercover eating and BBQ area which we used most evenings. The mid-week linen change was much appreciated as was the pool cleaning. The short walk into the pedestrianised shops/restaurants/cafe area and straight onto the sea-front was so convenient as was the short drive to the large supermarket in Serignan. Valras is well-placed to visit many other lovely towns/tourist attractions, either by car or local transport.

La maison a parfaitement répondu à nos attentes, nous avons passé un très bon moment à Valras. Eddie est un hôte très agréable et réactif, il a su répondre à toutes nos interrogations avant voyage afin que celui-ci soit parfait, et il l’a été! Nous reviendrons certainement!

Bon localisation mais logement à entretenir

La maison est située dans une impasse, avec des logements de chaque côté, un peu de vis à vis sur la piscine. Le lieu est plutôt calme malgré le fait d’être proche du centre ville, qui est un point positif, et a 10 minutes à pied de la plage. L’autre point positif est la piscine présente dans la location, bémol, elle n’est pas chauffée donc avec des enfants en bas âges pas forcément adapté, mais elle est bien sécurisée par une barrière. Les points négatifs sont plutôt nombreux : -le manque d’entretien des extérieurs, les mauvaises herbes partout autour de la piscine, et sur les terrasses -la literie a de mauvaise facture, les matelas sont des véritables planches de bois. -les portes de certaines chambres frottent au sol et sont difficiles à fermer et ouvrir. -les poignées sont pour certaines dévissées -pas d’alaises sur les oreilles -les couettes sont tachées La qualité générale du logement n’est pas à la hauteur du tarif demandé. Nous avons l’habitude de louer des logements dans ces tranches de tarifs et les prestations sont généralement plus qualitatives.

Merci pour votre avis. Nous nous excusons pour les mauvaises herbes qui sont apparues depuis la visite du jardinier. Cela a maintenant été corrigé et ne se reproduira plus. Le menuisier a réparé et a arrêté la porte pour éviter qu'elle ne racle et a resserré les vis de la poignée. Toutes les chambres ont été équipées de toutes nouvelles armoires et commodes en mai, mais nous sommes désolés que la literie n'ait pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes - tout cela a maintenant été remplacé par une nouvelle literie et un choix de fermeté d'oreiller. Nous nous efforçons d'offrir une expérience de vacances formidable, comme en témoignent d'autres visiteurs

Belle villa avec chambres spacieuses et ventilateurs très appréciés. Douche extérieure et piscine plus qu agréable ! Barrière autour de la piscine très sécurisante avec des enfants. Service draps serviettes + lave linge à disposition et ménage inclus rendent les vacances plus satisfaisante ! Tout est possible à pied, facilité d accès. Seuls bémols : réfrigérateur intérieur trop petit pour la capacité de la maison + lumières extérieures pas assez puissantes lors des repas en terrasse côté piscine + changer brosse des WC de la salle de bain. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Nos vacances furent réussies. Merci et bonne continuation.

Tout simplement splendide !

Spacieuse, entièrement de plain-pied avec un bel extérieur autour de la piscine et un lanai terrasse qui nous a permis de prendre tous les repas dehors. Les chambres sont grandes et l’absence de climatisation ne nous a pas dérangé. Très facilement accessible, l’emplacement de la maison est idéal à proximité des rues commerçantes et de la plage. Le seul bémol demeure le vent beaucoup trop présent, mais contre cela personne n’y peut rien. Merci pour cet agréable séjour.

La villa est bien pensée pour passer un agréable séjour, petits et grands ont été satisfaits. Elle est bien située. Le ménage avait bien été réalisé lorsque nous avons pris possession des lieux. Seul bémol : les mauvaises herbes qui poussent autour de la piscine. Les draps et serviettes fournis sont un vrai plus ainsi que le ménage inclus en fin de séjour. La piscine est agréable et la terrasse ombragée également. Nous y retournons certainement.

Bon séjour maison bien placée

Maison a 10 min de la mer, 5 min a pieds du centre ville. Idéal pour séjour en famille, pas besoin de véhicule pour se rendre à la plage. Piscine privée sécurisée avec clôture, vous pourrez laisser jouer les enfants dehors. Le frigo est un peu petit pour 8 personnes mais il y en a un autre en terrasse. Une seule salle de douche, assez grande tout de même, dans la maison. Une deuxième cabine de douche se trouve a l extérieur, pratique au retour de la plage.Centre commercial a 10 min en voiture. Pas de clim mais ventilateurs disponibles. Lit bébé chaise bébé sur place. Parking deux voitures possible.

Electroménager à changer !!!

Maison et extérieur très agréables. Mais le lave-vaisselle très abîmé à notre arrivée, nous a lâché en milieu de séjour (aucune réponse du propriétaire à notre demande de le changer). Les plaques de cuisson n'ont pas fonctionné pendant plus d'une journée, pourquoi ?

Lovely villa, perfect location, everything you could want from a holiday property!

Excellent fortnight spent with local friends and family. Our third time in Valras but our first in this property and it was by far our best holiday experience. Everything you could need for a family - great pool with outside shower and WC...no need for dripping kids to walk through the house, fantastic shady bbq/eating area next to the pool and another around the back. Outdoor fridge was a brilliant addition too! The midweek clean/linen change was also a welcome perk. All in all a very comfortable, lovely property. Many thanks!

Tolles Haus für Familien

Wir waren Pfingsten mit 2 Familien und insgesamt 6 Kindern (0-6 Jahre) dort. Der kindersichere Pool ist natürlich ein echtes Highlight. Das Haus ist praktisch und nett eingerichtet, auch außen gibt es ausreichend Stühle, Liegen etc. Wir haben oft und gerne gegrillt. Der Fußmarsch zum Strand ist auch für die Kleinen machbar und es gibt reichlich Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß. Für schlechteres Wetter gibt es sogar ein kleines extra Spielezimmer. Separater Duschraum mit warmem Wasser und der Toilette vor dem Haus ist sehr praktisch nach dem Strand. V.a. für Gruppen oder Familien mit Kindern echt empfehlenswert! Wir könnten uns ein weiteres Mal gut vorstellen.

Fabulous accommodation and very child friendly

The accommodation was very well suited to our needs, having two small children. There were plenty of child sleeping options and two big boxes of toys - one for outdoor use and one for indoor use. The pool was fully secure for children and the tv, dvd player, internet etc ensured there was no shortage of entertainment when you wanted to keep the kids out of the sunshine for a while. The cooking facilities were excellent and the simple but familiar ikea childrens plates, cups etc made it feel like a home from home. I would definitely recommend this accommodation for families travelling with children of all ages.
