About this property

This lovely farmhouse is located in the Maulina hills, famous for their wine and also as one of the most exclusive residential areas around Lucca. It is situated on the same estate as Villa Clara, a villa we have been succesfully renting for years, and used to be one of the farmers’ houses. It has been totally restored, and the interiors have been decorated with old Tuscan furniture to preserve the original character. One of the rooms has facilities for disabled guests and all bedrooms are en-suite. The garden and swimming pool have been positioned on the opposite side of Villa Clara to assure total privacy. The area is ideal for people looking for a quiet location, yet at same time wishing to be close to a town. In fact, the beautiful walled medieval town of Lucca is only 10 minutes away. Also, as it is only 6 km from the nearest motorway exit, it is an ideal base for exploring and visiting the main towns of Tuscany. There is a tennis club within walking distance of the house. The helpful caretakers arrange cooking services, they live on the estate, in a separate apartment and can support you during your vacation.

Cleaning service is included 2 hours a day, 3 days a week.

Salogi was very easy to work with and the staff’s comfort with English was helpful too. We rented a villa outside Lucca with our adult children and grandchildren. The home was comfortable, generously furnished and the location was gorgeous. The owner enjoyed our grandkids and would bring them treats of fresh grapes off of his vines. We spent many afternoons around the pool and all of our meals were enjoyed out on the patio. I feel very fortunate that we were able to find Salogi Villas and that their service and homes were a big part of our terrific visit to Lucca.

Great family break

Great villa to spend time in. Spacious, well equipped, great pool, very nice owner, cleaner included. Excellent location. Visited Lucca, Viareggio, Florence and Cinqueterre. Lovely holiday.

Casa Rosa was perfect for our family needs, plenty of space for adults and children to be alone or together, without being too formal. We all enjoyed the large pool area for a good part of most days. Eating outside each day was a pleasure and the kitchen was very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the delivery of dinner for our first night and our dinner service at the end of the week. Anna’s cooking was enjoyed by us all and made our stay even more relaxing. Thank you to the owners were always very friendly, helpful and obliging. Beautiful rustic villa in a very nice location. Only 10 minute drive to Lucca. Great for groups. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!
