Worst experience - not accurate to description

I had booked this for my stay in Rome for the first time. When I got there, the place had a lot of issues that made my stay miserable. Firstly, the unit was extremely hot, no AC in the main room/kitchen. Also one of the rooms did not have a functional air conditioning. We spent the entire time trying to fix this AC unit while we were supposed to be on vacation. The AC unit never worked host did not assist all. We ended up sleeping in an extremely hot bedroom walking up in the middle to the night all sweaty. Secondly, one of the bathroom showers was overflowing with water and we spent all the time trying to fix it by putting a draining solution. The host had us doing his maintenance work while we should be enjoying our vacation. Additionally, there was no resolutions on both items. We chatted with the host via WhatsApp and he never got back to us with an actual solution. We were not happy with our stay and I suggest that you find a different place to stay. Do not stay here.

Do Not Book if Coming from the States

Pauleo is extremely difficult w an attitude. His customer service skills are very lacking. He sent us the info but he did not send it to us until the very night before.I told him we would be on a cruise ship for two weeks. So disembarking the ship we had no Internet service. Videos he sent Pryor that I was able to pull up. did not tell us the code. Upon arriving to the property, our driver tried to even contact him he would not give me the code over the phone! There was no way I could retrieve the information without Internet. It was a huge ordeal. He will keep telling you that I only listed one person And then he had to charge me more at the end because of that. There is no issue with that. I absolutely had no problem paying for six people. I told him over the phone that that’s how many people were coming. The issue was entering. The biggest issue was once we finally did after a very long day of travel get into the beds the beds were filthy and full of hair when I contacted him to tell him and sent pics he told me that I complain too much and to have a good night. He also was very adamant about communicating through WhatsApp. He would not even send any info for entry unless I logged into ‎WhatsApp and requested this the day of arrival . Also wanted me to log onto an app to open the door. I told him no I already have Internet issues I need a key. Not gonna be stranded outside with all of my party. He put us in a position to do what he said are we would not get in.

Checking in to property absolute nightmare. On several occasions iPhone would not connect to the lock mechanism system, leaving myself and my party stranded on the road in the middle of the night We had to wait for other occupants coming in to let us in. We asked Paolo for a key but were told there wasn’t one.very annoying . I suspect the photos advertising the apartment were taken some time ago as it is now in need of a complete overhaul. The balcony furniture is dirty and the umbrella was in tatters .The whole area is totally unrecognisable to the photos. Overall I would give the apartment a two star rating as it is now shabby. Again the locking mechanism is a nightmare. On the plus side it is in a good location

Stay In Rome

The apartment was very clean, with good mattresses and in a decent location, within walking distances to all the major sites. Paolo was a great host. We arrived early and he was great at getting us checked in early. Paolo was very helpful with suggestions and always responded promptly to any of our questions.
