house with covered terrace equipped with a table and chairs to take meals outside and a small lounge for relaxation. Panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and a small village of character. The site is quiet and far from road traffic. Private courtyard with possibility of game of bowls, the balls are provided. The hiking trails are easily accessible.
The situation of the hiring allows to visit the tourist sites of Quercy and the valley of the Dordogne with its multiple castles. Possibility of fishing in the river and in the lakes of the sector.

All comfort necessary for cooking and meals: fridges, freezer, microwave, stove with electric oven.

Very obliging host, however the listing did not disclose that the owner lives on site with family & friends coming and going past the house & terrace and at times noisy. The electrics and plumbing are quite rudimentary and the house was not very clean. However, the swimming pool is lovely with a beautiful view, and there is lots of good walking from the house.

Mooi huis men zwembad op prachtige locatie

Het is een mooi huis met een mooi diep zwembad met prachtig uitzicht op een vallei. De keuken is goed uitgerust. De bedden zijn goed, de slaapkamers mooi maar een beetje gehorig en de badkamer is goed genoeg. De huiskamer is mooi en gezellig en de veranda is ruim en biedt een mooi uitzicht. Het huis moet eigenlijk wat beter worden schoongemaakt en het meubilair op de veranda en bij het zwembad is aan vervanging toe. Gastheer Michel Bessou is erg aardig en doet zijn uiterste best om het zwembad schoon te houden. De gastheer woont op hetzelfde terrein maar daar heb je als gast geen enkele last van. Kortom, wij hebben een fijne week gehad.

Rust en natuur

Het huis ligt in een mooie natuurlijke omgeving. Het is een groot huis en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. En prachtig zwembad met fantastisch uitzicht. Nadeel is dat de eigenaar in een klein huis achter het grote huis woont en zeer regelmatig voorbij loopt en gasten ontvangt. Ook een nadeel is dat de dichtstbijzijnde winkel en bakker op 17 minuten rijden is.
