Beach Front House At Potamia, Kythnos Island

A 75 sqm split level, 2 bedroom beach front house ideal for relaxing, tranquil vacations. The house sleeps up to 5 guests ( 1 double bed, 2 single beds and a sofa bed in the living room). It is ideally located on a secluded sandy beach with emerald crystal clear waters well protected from northern winds, which is accessible through the property. The wonderful beach of Potamia is reached by a 5 min walk or swim from our beach and Agios Sostis beach by 10 min walk (see in photos). The veranda has a wonderful combined view of the sea and the surrounding mountains.

Now, having gone through the government΄s full vaccination program and by applying all protection measures against the virus and our high quality standards we feel quite confident that the coming (2023) summer vacations will be memorable for our guests.
The house is located in the area of Potamia in the north- east side of Kythnos island, 6 km from the seaside resort of Loutra where you can find fine restaurants, sea food taverns, cafes, bars, minimarkets, bakery, thermometallic bath spa and also a scuba diving school.
The main town Chora and the port of Mericha are 10 km and 18 Km from the property, respectively having markets and stores that can satisfy diverse choices and tastes. Moreover, a wide network of hiking trails is available for the hiking lovers and explorationists of nature.

Getting around
The island of Kythnos – a gem amongst the Cycladic islands- is reached from Athens by ferry, either from the port of Lavrio ( 1 hr 45 min) that is ½ h drive from the Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) or from the Piraeus port (3 hrs) that is a 50min drive from the Eleftherios Venizelos airport.
It should be noted that a private/rented car is required (4-wheel recommended) to reach the property and for being able to easily go about and to enjoy and explore the island at its fullest. There are car/moto rentals in Loutra, Chora and Merichas. Moreover, you are advised to arrange your island transportation (rented/private car) well ahead of your visit.
