Fabulous property

The house was in a fantastic position between the town and the beach which was ideal for our type of holiday. The Property itself was clean and very well equipped with lots of space. The roof terrace was huge and a great area for chilling. All in all a fantastic experience.

We had a great holiday in Alvor

The property is exactly as shown on the web site and was perfect for our needs. Communications and arrangements for access to the property were made easy by Ian. The villa was clean and well equipped. It has a spacious roof terrace which is perfect for sunbathing and a shady courtyard for when the heat gets too much. The location is perfect, situated between the beach, the town and the waterfront, everything you could need is within a short walk.

Lovely place and communication

We loved to stay here (again). Communication with the owner, Ian, was very cool. I did a specific request and he does exactly what I ask. Very attentive. The house is very good and near beach. It was very clean, except the terrace that has too much dust (again). We stayed here for a second time and I believe that this is not the last. Thank you very much.

Mit den 4 Schlafzimmern und den 2 Bädern war ein entspannter Urlaub in der Großfamilie möglich. Die Lage zwischen Strand und trubeliger Altstadt ist optimal. Alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Trotzdem bekommt man vom Treiben der Altstadt nichts mit.

Propriedade mt bem localizada. Casa grande, ideal para grupos numerosos. De lamentar que indiquem que tem ar condicionado quando, na verdade, apenas um quarto no 1.º andar tem. A casa é bastante quente e as ventoinhas existentes não refrescam o suficiente.

Great host and great house

Ian is a great host always promptly replying to all queries and giving us local numbers to solve any issues that could arise (there was never an issue though) The house is lovely and hosts a family of 9 with 2 fridges and plenty of cutlery. It is very near to the beach and supermarket making it very convenient. Definitely recommend

We discovered Alvor six years ago when touring Portugal in our campervan and immediately fell in love with the little town and it's laid back Portuguese lifestyle.
So much so that we have come back every year since!
In 2017 we found "Casa Palmeiras"
We particularly enjoy the location of the villa as everywhere is within easy reach on foot.
You can walk to beaches and boardwalks, restaurants and different to our life in rural France.
We hope you enjoy staying here as much as we do!
