Family House with pool

Large family home less than 10 min from Bordeaux city center and located in downtown Cauderan a famous district of Bordeaux with all amenities within 100m .

everything possible without a car if necessary

The house
Our 240m2 house has 2 floors and is located in a quiet dead-end street.
The house is perfect to spend holidays with your family or friends with our quiet garden and our large pool.
Inside large windows and spacious living areas.

Recent renovations and new wooden terrace around the swiming pool

Fully equipped kitchen .

Upstairs 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms
1 master bedroom with ensuite bathroom
1 double room
1 room with 2 single beds
1 room with a single mezzanine bed
1 room with 1 single bed
1 convertible double bed in the "Pines room"

All of our single beds are at least 90X190cm size.

The house linen will be provided

The Garden
Quiet and pleasant garden where you can enjoy a very large solar heated pool 6X12m.
The pool is surrounded by fences and glass barriers . You will also enjoy a unobstructed view from the house by simply folding a large part of the barrier inside our terrasse !
In front of the house you will find a terrasse with a table for your lunches and dinners 'summer and a barbecue .
For your kids we have a small wooden house and a trampoline.
At the back of the garden a cabin can accomadate 2 adults.

Our house is located downtown Cauderan district with several amenities nearby . Within 100m you will find all the main amenities you need like bakery , butchers , grocery stores , wine shop , florist , banks ...
A supermarket is 10 min away by foot .
You can also find several restaurants in the neighborhood.

TRANSPORTATION
-Downtown Bordeaux can be reached by 2 buses lines in 15min or by citybike in 15/20 min ( there is a citybike station 100m away)
-Train station : 30min by direct public transportation or 20 min by taxi (around 20€)
-Airport : 45 min by public transportation or 15 min by taxi (around 25 €)
-The closest beaches can be reached by car in 45 min (also by bus or train)

Homely, spacious comfort in great location

We were able to enjoy a wonderful family holiday in this comfortable and spacious house located in a quiet residential area with easy public transport access to the centre of Bordeaux and close to shops both large and small. The house is extremely well-equipped particularly the kitchen. The pool is large and safe. The owners are very attentive and willing to give advice on activities to enjoy in the city and the region. Highly recommended.

LARGE HOUSE WITH NICE POOL

A large house with plenty of room. Garden space was limited due to the size of the pool which was fantastic for 10 people, the kids loved it. We stayed the week after the heatwave and the weather was not brilliant. The pool temp was about 25-26 deg after a while the youngest children got cold. If the sun had been shining I'm sure it would have been better. Communication with Martin and Beatrice was very good. Some of the utensils are getting a little tired and there was nowhere to hang clothes in the master bedroom suite. We didn't use the cabin in the garden and it had not been cleaned but Martin did give us a small refund for this. All in all a very nice prperty yo stay at for a large family holiday.

Dear Ian Thank you for your reservation and glad you did enjoy your stay. I would like to make a few comments to your review: I am a bit surprise that you indicate that you did not use the cabin in the garden cause it was not cleaned. If you would have told me that this was preventing your son to use it, I would have, of course, ask our housemaid to come back the same day. The cabin was completely cleaned and prepared at the beginning of the summer but as long as no previous guest used it, our housemaid did not think that it could have been dirty (first year with us ) It is a wooden cabin in the garden with all the comfort but without being dirty, you may find some natural « deposits » after a few days without use. It is nonetheless regrettable, which is why I wanted to reimburse you for part of the cleaning costs . We are renting our own house and despite all our efforts everything is not necessarily perfect, sorry. We are doing our best and every year we are trying to improve it to ensure our guests are spending the best vacation possible. You should have seen that the entire 1st floor has been renovated this year, which was not in the announcement at the time of your reservation. Once again sorry for the inconvenience , we hope that you had a memorable family stay.

Belle maison bien située au calme

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine en famille dans cette belle maison. Elle est spacieuse, fonctionnelle avec une décoration très chic. Elle est au calme mais bien située dans bordeaux, à l'intérieur on se croit à la campagne mais on est à proximité de tout. Grande Piscine chauffée agréable.

Fabulous home, great pool, great location and great information

We stayed for 2 weeks and it was superb. The house is fabulous opening up to the fenced pool which can be brought down if no childcare concerns. The lucious green backdrop is beautiful. The pool is clean and large. The house itself was recently renovated to a very high standard. It had everything you would need to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. The information provided was very detailed and answers all your questions. The advice on things to do and amenities close to the house is very thorough. Thank you we would definitely return.

Super sejour

Nous avons passé un super sejour La description de la maison dans l'annonce correpondait parfaitement Tres grande et belle piscine. Nous etions un groupe d'amis avec enfants en bas age et la maison etait bien adaptée en terme d'espace. Bien que situee en ville la maison est calme et il n'y a pas de vis a vis. Communication au top avec les propriétaires. Bref: nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances sans mauvaises surprises

Superbe vacance

Nous avons passé d'excellente vacances. La maison est superbe et très spacieuse! Nous sommes partis entre amis (7 adultes et 5 enfants) chacun a pu avoir son espace personnel. La piscine chauffée et sécurisée nous a permis de passer d'agréables moment. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil et les propriétaires sont à l'écoute et disponibles. Lovely house in a great location

Spent a very enjoyable week at this property with extended family. Spacious living area, plenty of bathrooms and very well equipped kitchen.. Lovely terrace and pool area with fence. Pool itself is very large. Owners were very pleasant and helpful, had prepared the house to a high standard and it was spotless. Local amenities within very easy reach and very convenient to take bikes or bus into city centre. Beach at Lacanau Oceon is 45 minutes away which makes for a great day out. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to explore Bordeaux but also do beach/day trip outside the city,
