This is a quaint village in the South of France. The pretty board walk spanning across the lake is 5 minutes walk from the house. The natural beauty surrounding the property is just breath-taking.
Our house is located in the village, 50 meters from the Church Square and the Town Hall but also the shops: bakery, supérette- grocery store, newsagent, post office, coffee shop, hairdresser. It is located on a quiet and safe pedestrian plot for children.
Walk around the lakes on the pontoons. Cycle between thelakes and numerous vineyards. Swim in the secluded lake in the village. Take a short drive to the sea at Port La Nouvelle. Go to the African reserve at Sigean. Discover nearby Corbières and Cathar castles (Peyrepertuse , Quéribus) and its many wineries.
The lake (le Doul) offers an inviting beach for safe swimming . The local village, Bages, dominated by its pretty fishing village, offers the possibility of sporting activities (sailing, fishing, windsurfing). Peyriac and is equipped with petanque.
