My family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. The place was spacious and clean. We loved the short forest walk to the beach, and spent a lot of time in the yard.

I would have given five stars except for two annoying issues. On check in, we had issues connecting to internet, The instructions posted on the corkboard had an incorrect password for the Wi-Fi system. I emailed Tom and got right back to me with the right one; very impressive. The other thing is the property description as being "30 yards from the beach". NOT!! It's 30 yards to path across the street that leads to the beach. From there it's another couple hundred more yards to the beach meandering through and over a forested dune. There is better beach access for those with mobility problems very close by at the end of Minihaha Street. Tom was very responsive especially given he was in Europe at Oh my God early in the morning. We loved the property. It was perfect for us and our dogs. Excellent backyard. The hot tub was very clean. We would stay there again. Peace

The house was not clean and not at all worth the price we paid. Saving grace was path to the beach close by. Cookware unusable/ health hazard. Dining room light held up with tape. Vacuum held together with tape, Could explain dog hair and sand everywhere. Blankets smelled filthy.

Tried to accommodate these guests. They were upset about not being able to locate a small kettle. Replacing cookware October 26, Most guests really enjoy the house. Dogs do stay at the house and I have it deep cleaned monthly. Not sure what they're talking about with the tape.
House and yard are gorgeous, there's a fully stocked kitchen and a hot tub, which is beautiful under the stars at night. A very short walk right down to beach! Would absolutely book here again.
The property is relatively private, well appointed, right in the middle of everything we wanted to do while we were there. The hot tub was a nice touch at the end of a very long drive. The bed was comfortable and the house was very clean.
The house is so welcoming and homey. The back yard was nice with the hot tub, hammock and fire pit. WOW! Location to the beach was an amazing path across the street. Thank you for such a great stay.
Great property for dogs although when we got there we did do a sweep and found a great deal of poo left behind or missed so we cleaned that up. Floors were wet so we must have been on the heels of the cleaners. Beach access is wonderful. Rockaway is meh so bring your own food and utilize the kitchen as it is well equipped ! Quiet neighborhood also a plus :)
Very comfortable and cozy place, with a convenient trail to the beach right across the street. Kitchen is fully functional and stocked with most items you would need. We definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again
Stayed for two nights, really gorgeous weekend. The house was well equipped, huge backyard, clean, enough space for my family and I- 2 kids ages 4 and 6, a small doggo, and husband. Close to town, I could walk to town 15ish min to the main area, and very close walk to the beach.
Our trip was spectacular! The weather was great, the house was as advertised, and the host was accommodating and communicative. We would love to make this a recurring trip for our family!
Cute house that had everything we needed. The big fenced backyard was a huge bonus for us with our dog. Outdoor hot tub and multiple close in access points to the beach were fabulous.
This is our second time here. Love the home vibe, plenty of room and love the fenced backyard for our dogs. Love the short walk to the beach. Definitely returning
Good property for two. Near beach as mentioned with entrance right across the street, hot tub great an updated cover would be nice, fire pit with some wood provided, make sure you get seasoned wood. Bed mattress very firm, unit clean but cleaner is always a plus. Central to upper and mid costal Oregon, nice small town. Would recommend.

I appreciate the stay but a 3 star review for a place you liked is pretty harsh. New cover hadn’t come in yet but it’s there now. Beds are pretty new Sealy Posturepedics which are very comfortable. Listing mentions the need to bring wood which is also readily available close by. I’m always super responsive to my guests needs:)
Cute beach cottage connected to the beach by an easy pathway. Hot tub was delightful. Thoughtfully updated (heated towel bar in the bathroom!). Comfy beds. We had a great time and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Small and comfortable house in excellent location. Comfortable beds. Very workable kitchen. Bring baking pans you might need because it’s not fully stocked. Glad we stayed and would love to come back.
The place has all the charm and quirks of an old cottage, but it’s very well maintained and set up! Our 10yo loved sleeping in the attic space. We didn’t let the 6yo sleep up there because of the steepness of the stairs, but he was comfy in one of the other bedrooms. The internet is very fast. Backyard and hot tub are perfect. One of my favorite VRBO stays!
