Overall a positive experience with a smooth check-in process and a wonderful location. I was disappointed with the condition of some of the furniture and the cleanliness of the place, however.

This is a very nice property for a young couple.An older couple would be aware of the steep stairs to the only bed in a loft.It was a pleasant surprise seeing deer and big horn sheep on the property.

The schoolhouse is really a special place. The photos are charming but do no justice to how awesome the views are of the valley behind the cabin. We had the best time.

My husband and I and our dog greatly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed and more. The views were excellent and we enjoyed relaxing evenings on the deck and wildlife around the cabin!

The cabin was in a beautiful setting with great views and all the amenities. We enjoyed sitting on the deck for morning coffee and tea. There is a herd of Big Horn sheep in the area, which we saw a number of times during our visit. The area is perfect for night star gazing as we had clear nights on our trip. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come to the Black Hills.

Loved our stay!

We loved staying at Spring Canyon School! It was perfect for our family and we especially loved the view of the canyon in the back. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. If we visit the Black Hills area in the future, we would definitely try to stay here again!

Perfect place to relax

Perfect cabin for the 3 of us. We came to visit the sites of the Black Hills and this cabin was a great place to stay at the end of the day. The cabin was also very well stocked with just about whatever you might need. Highly recommend staying here!
