Aloha, Nathalie: Thank you so much for choosing our townhouse for your stay in Kona. We were happy to have you. Thanks, too, for sharing your feedback on the bed and laundry. Our regular and repeat guests haven't said anything so I'll try to figure out if we need to change anything with the bed - we do want all of our guests to be comfortable! :) And, starting laundry on the last am is a request only. It's tremendously helpful if and when our guests can run the machines to help save time. We don't want anyone folding linens or remaking beds - just 'running' machines makes a huge difference in time and ensures housekeeper/s can focus on even more details which we insist upon to keep the unit super clean for your enjoyment. We do, however, ask for guests that request a late checkout to do laundry (run machines only) and we offer a $50 late checkout to block an additional night on the calendar so departing guests can leave for late flights feeling refreshed. I'm very sorry this was negative for you - I'll review and see what might work better should we enjoy a visit from you in the future. Aloha, Traci: Thank you very much for your review. I'm always delighted to share our home in paradise with guests. The pool, proximity to the ocean, the flowers all around us and the convenience to a beach (200 yards), shopping center (less than 1/2 mile) and world-class snorkeling (within 1/2 mile) make this townhouse perfect for us. And, being surrounded by amazing flora (hibiscus, plumeria, and gardenia) and even palm trees in our yard makes this park-perfect setting even more wonderful. I'm also glad you were comfortable with the ceiling and pedestal fans. The AC is available in main bedroom but guests seem to do well with just fans to promote air movement as desired.
