Girls Getaway
I have lost track of how many times my friends and I have stayed at this property. We keep coming back because of the clean, comfortable, spacious house. We love the views of the river and of course the hot tub. We look forward to staying here again next year!

Lake House South is wonderful
We've been returning here for years in February to soak out the midwinter blahs. The place is well kept and beautiful. There is not much to do here and we like that. The Hot tub and train (there is a RR track between the Lake and the house) are comforting. Well be back!

Beautiful waterfront view
My friend and I had a very nice vacation in this rental. It's right next to the train tracks, which is great if you love hearing and watching the trains roll by. The views are beautiful.

good
They gave us a comfortable stay and a pleasant preparation for our family Christmas, only the windows of the upper main room did not have handles to be able to open them and enjoy the weather, I suggest you can put them, we would have loved the smell of the countryside in the room. The terrace on the first floor we didn't have water for the bar so we couldn't be in that area preparing our meals the rest everything was fine, very good comfortable and clean stay

Terrific getaway property
The property was clean, comfortable and fully equipped for our family holiday weekend. The listing is extremely accurate, and the response of the owners was very good. I highly recommend this property.

Why they chose this property

This had been my home so there are all the extra little touches that make this a home. We are constantly putting upgrades Into the property, please come enjoy them! If you have any suggestions, please let us know. This is where I come to relax and recharge .... beautiful and relaxing. My family loves to use this place to gather all together - lots of space and very comfortable.

What makes this property unique

I still get excited when the bald eagles fly by. There are eight nest on the 8 mile lake. The eagle population is exploding!
The lake is perfect for boating, I have a pontoon boat, great kayaking, many great fishing holes..... Try exploring the Safe Harbor Petrogylphs. Enjoy biking, newly open Enola Low Grade Rail Trail, 29 miles. Also nice for hiking, or jump on the Conestoga Trail which connects to the Mason Dixon Trail, 39 miles of local trails. Shenks Ferry Wildflower Preserve is best in April.
