Great family stay

Not too big and just enough room. Yard space for the little ones to play. Location is actually really good because it's with- in 10 minutes of Heavenly area which is great because it helps with traffic noise. This was an overall great house to stay in and the host was very easy to communicate with, a huge plus.

This is our second time coming to this property and hopefully more to come. My family comes to Tahoe for our pre Christmas every year. I stumbled onto this rental last year and I'm thankful I did. Hosts are extremely nice and accommodated my family and beyond.

8x 50+ guys for our annual disc-golf weekend. If you want "luxury" then it's not the right place but that is not our style either - but we're old enough we want comfort and amenities. This house was a perfect balance for us. We could cook, sleep VERY comfortably (lots of beds!) and having 3 bathrooms for showers was pretty awesome. House was ready early and the host contacted us proactively to let us know it was ready - which was perfect because we didn't want all of our "luggage" sitting in a parking lot all day. Instructions, directions, etc. were all quite clear and no issues at all for us. Big thank you to the hosts - we'll rebook next year in a second if availability and the right number of people are going.

Well loved property

This property isn’t boujee, but it is well loved. The house needs updates but we loved it so much and it suited our family. It had all the cooking supplies and a stocked spice cabinet. The owner was slow to respond until right before our stay but then they went above and beyond to make our stay welcome- including sending beach chairs to the house to be sure we could enjoy the lake. Don’t hesitate to rent this property! The location is very close to Heavenly.

Snowstorm of 2021

Our family was unable to make it to the house due to road closures because of the snow. Lori and her husband were so kind through the whole dilemma of is trying to get up there through the giant December 2021 snowstorm. My brother and his family however did make it up. They really enjoyed this property and all the amenities. They said the pictures didn’t due it justice as it is even nicer in person.

I was beyond pleasantly surprised.

I was beyond pleasantly surprised how beautiful the home and our stay was. The home was perfect for my family age ranging from 9 months, 2, 5, 9. 14, 18, 27, 29, and my self (no need to disclose my age lol). It felt like home and close to everything you need, skiing, grocery stores, food etc.. Can't wait to go again for longer next year!

Lori, property owner/manager, was amazing through the entire process. She replied to me quickly and was very accommodating around check in/check out times. My expectations we set along the way. I was clear in my responsibilities for check in/check out and would definitely recommend a stay at this property. While the house is located in a nice enough area, the host definitely made us not want to come back. First, even though the Vrbo posting has a check-out time listed at 11 am, she informed us after our check-out that we were supposed to be out by 10 am and would be charging us extra. Why would you clajm have a different check-out time in your contract than what you have listed on Vrbo AND in your information book in the house? Also, after reviewing the contract, no mention of a specific check-out was listed. Second, she charged us for leaving a "huge mess" behind. We had left garbage in the kitchen trashcan and a burger in the microwave. For that she charged us an outrageous $150. It seems as though this host was only concerned with charging extra fees anywhere she could. While I understand times are tough right now, I suggest you raise your nightly rate instead of trying to force out fees on your guests.

Cozy Family Vacation Rental

Our family stayed at this vacation rental property. Everything started fine including the check-in process and Lori checked-in with us at the beginning which I thought was thoughtful. The property is big enough to accommodate 10 people and is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. It had all the amenities as advertised except for clothing wash soap. The A/C didn't work and we opted to buy fans from the Safeway because it was scorching hot the weekend we stayed at the property. The barbecue was dirty upon arrival but we cleaned out to use it and cleaned it out when we were finished. I decided not to contact the host because I felt I could've resolved the issues a lot quicker and did not want to waste anytime going back and forth with the host and waiting for a maintenance person to resolve the issues. I received a text message from Lori on July 12, 2021 (after we had checked out) asking me why the trash had not been picked up. I responded that the trash was picked up and that additional trash was generated because we stayed one more night after scheduled trash collection. She responded that it was a little strange that the bins were full on the day after collection. I was completely baffled. After I explained to her what happened she insisted that we didn't do what we were supposed to do. This out of line questioning is pretty much what made an average stay at this vacation rental into a "Does not meet the Standards" stay.

Great winter family vacation

The house was clean and we had plenty of room that allowed for everyone to get away to their own spot when needed. Our kids really enjoyed the game room. The neighborhood was perfect and it was close to Heavenly. We cooked most of our meals in the cabin/house and we had plenty of pots and pans including condiments. Lori even provided coffee and teas. The bathrooms were equipped with plenty of towels, soaps and shampoo. I highly recommend. Lori was great at communicating ensuring we had everything we needed. Thank you Lori for sharing your home with us.

Great get away with family

The house was warm and inviting. Very clean. We felt like we were at our own home. Our kids enjoyed playing the Foosball table the most. Great communication with Lori. We are already planning to come back next year.
