Perfect location, nice quiet neighborhood felt very safe. Arthur is a great host, very responsive and super accommodating. Highly recommended! (Not accessible if you have mobility issues.)
First stay in Greater London outside the core. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the accommodation and convenience to amenities and destinations nearby. Will stay again.

Thanks Chris for your review and yes you are welcome back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Arthur’s flat
We were walking distance- just minutes away from grocery stores, great pubs, restaurants and transportation. It’s a cute flat, basic decor, but equipped and had everything we needed. So close to the high street but such a quiet neighborhood.
Arthur was friendly and more than helpful with information, suggestions and parking we needed. The flat was older but clean and comfortable. .
We would definitely stay again.
Great proximity to the tube to downtown from Zone 4
Easy access to the tube and trains. More expensive to get downtown London and took longer because of being in zone 4. Shopping, grocery stores and restaurants were very accessible.
Lovely access to Kew Gardens.
The apartment was just as described and as the pictures show. Communication with Arthur was very adequate..
The kitchen only allowed for very basic food preparation because of the available utensils and pots.
It was quite handy to have the extra bed.
The main negative for me was that the shelves in the kitchen were dirty. One swipe of my white rag and it literally turned dark gray. Because of that I cleaned almost all the shelves/drawers and washed all of the dishes/utensils/pots and pans. This should mean that those who come in the near future will find the kitchen much cleaner. Crocks that the utensils were stored in were mildly greasy on the outside, but quite greasy on the inside. This seemed like a lot of uncompensated work. The rest of the apartment was clean and without problems.
We did pay Arthur 30 GBP for a toilet seat that broke while we were there.
The apartment is well situated on a quiet residential road just a few minutes walk to Richmond train station and the centre of Richmond and within easy walking distance of Richmond Park and Kew Gardens. The apartment is roomy and well equipped. It is clean and Arthur has ensured that it is Covid compliant. Arthur was very helpful and easily contactable. I would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment for a stay in Richmond.
Arthur's place was perfect for our stay in Richmond, a great size apartment for the two of us and so close to everything - the train/underground; pubs and restaurants; grocery stores and Kew gardens... The apartment had everything we needed.
Thanks Arthur.
Flat was clean, modern, and provided all we needed for our stay in Richmond. We had choice of cooking in the flat or enjoying nearby restaurants, and we did both. We utilized both bus and rail for our adventures around London. Arthur Shipp was tremendous in helping us move in.
