Our stay was great and better than I expected. We were there to visit St Andrews university and were very pleased with our rental. First our guests were very helpful and attentive. The apartment was really clean which I appreciated. Some added details were lovely- ear plugs in the night table drawer, Coffee pods, tea bags, cleaning supplies in the kitchen, a book of instructions and suggestions. Honestly, it deserves a 5 stars. I would come back again.
The only reason we came to Anstruther was because we saw these great reviews and wanted to see the place that came so highly recommended! It was everything and more. The place is so clean it is GLEAMING, and it is very thoughtfully stocked. Soft huge towels and comfortable beds make for a lovely stay. The town of Anstruther is so charming, we fell in love with it, and hope to come back some day. You will not be disappointed—you’ll love your stay here!!
This is a beautiful apartment that has been wonderfully decorated. It is very well equipped with everything you will need. The location is great. Anstruther is a lovely little town and the apartment is close to restaurants and the town center. There is a great walking path along the sea. The parking situation made me nervous but we never had a problem with the car. I would rent here again in a second.
Lovely clean property with all we could ask for in the kitchen. Really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back again, Thank you for arranging the lovely weather for us 😎
We wanted to stay in St. Andrews but because of the Walker Cup we had to expand our search, so glad we did. The place was amazing very clean with professional host everything you need. The town was a great find my wife loved the coffee every morning from Coast and fish and chips from the Wee Chippy was great. Accurate posting highly recommend for a Scotland visit
Property was lovely and really well situated. Kitchen was well equipped and beds really comfortable. We all agreed we would stay here again. Owners were very helpful.
We have had a fantastic stay at Old Surgery. Everything was perfect, the flat was gorgeous and very cozy. And Anstruther is a very fine town to visit. Trish, the owner was so welcoming. We hope to retur again soon.
The apartment had everything we needed and all was in great condition! We were concerned about parking but it turned out to be no problem. The Coop supermarket was within walking distance and well stocked. We did worry about the crack in the glass door at the entrance as we did not notice it when we first arrived. A heads up would have been appreciated!!
We enjoyed our trip to Anstruther! Beautiful flat in pretty little town. Very clean and updated. Close to St. Andrews without the crowds. Would definitely return!

Second stay at the property, Immaculately clean, well presented and equipped. In a great location in the town. Hosts very welcoming and friendly. Definitely be back.
The Old Surgery was warm, welcoming and very well appointed. It was very well positioned to explore both Anstruther and Fife. We had a very enjoyable few days relaxing! We are most certainly planning to visit again.
Lovely apartment situated close by the sea. Lots of special wee touches in the rooms and very comfortable and tastefully furnished. beds and pillows super and lots of equipment in the kitchen. We had a wee bit of an issue with a noisy alarm outside the flat which did keep us awake but the owner tried everything in her power to find the source. Other than that definitely on our list of places we would return to in the future. highly recommended.

Fantastic accommodation
Spent a fabulous couple of days based at the Old Surgery. Communication was excellant from the owner with clear instructions for arrival and we were met on arrival. Property is of the highest standard, immaculate both in decor and cleanliness throughout. Everything we needed was privided. Covid precautions in place and advice in the information booklet should it be needed. Would highly recommend. Parking was on street but on a very quiet side road directly opposite the accommodation and thete are some off street parking bays opposite too. Really enjoyable stay, friendly host, will return.
All though we enjoyed our stay, just a few minor points.
There was no fire escape except the main door. Removing your boots at the entrance would be made more comfortable if a bench seat was there.
Regards Joe Mathieson
Our accommodation was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully furnished. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were new and nicely decorated. Overall, a great place to stay.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property had everything we could possibly want and was even better in reality than on the web. Made very welcome by Trish and Bruce. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here .
