The "Casa das Figueiras" is located on the slopes of the Castle of Aljezur and in the heart of the historical area.

It is a typical house in the western Algarve, overlooking the village of Aljezur, Castle and Várzeas, where tranquility embraces those who stay there.

This charming little house has a bedroom, living room with sofa bed, kitchen, toilet, outdoor space for leisure and private parking.

It is equipped with everything you need for your stay: TV, radio with CD player, unlimited WiFi Internet, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, gas stove, electric oven, toaster, coffee machine, bed linen and towels.

It sleeps up to four people and is ideal for a couple, a family or a group of friends who share a taste for nature or outdoor activities such as Surfing, Mountain biking, Trail, Fishing and the famous walking routes of the Vincentian Route. In addition, you can also visit the beautiful beaches of the surroundings, such as Arrifana, Monte Clérigo and Amoreira. In the spring you can feel the air invaded by the strong aroma of the stela flower, typical plant of this region.

After your well-deserved rest, head down to the village center (3 min walk) where you can find excellent restaurants to taste good fish, barnacles and sweet potatoes or go to the Municipal Market where you will find the freshest products of the day.

We had a great holiday. The property and also the owner (Joao) were great.

Aljezur was lovely and the location of the property was excellent and overlooked the town. The property was cleaned each week and was spotless. The dedicated parking space for the car was much appreciated too.

A casa é muito acolhedora sem grandes luxos com o necessario para umas ferias em familia . O João foi sempre 5 estrelas e super atencioso e preocupado que nada nos falta-se, a Susana tb super simpactica e atenciosa. Prós - Localização muito boa , Sitio agradavel e sossegado tem uma mesinha cá fora na rua que a minha filha adorava estar sentada a olhar para o Castelo, casa limpa e acolhedora, o estacionamento não e perto de casa contudo o João dispoe de um local privado que mais ninguem possui na zona o que é super bom pois garante a proximidade. Contras - o unico contra é o facto de a casa não ter máquina de Lavar/Secar roupa , contudo existe muitas alternativas para o efeito . Concerteza uma referencia para quando voltar-mos a Aljezur.

An accomodation to be remembered

From our first contact, to the handover of the accommodation on the last day, we were perfectly taken care of. João even provided us with tips in the area and was always available. The accommodation corresponded to the pictures and had everything you need: coffee maker, dishwasher, comfortable beds and a great view over the beautiful countryside. Anytime gladly again :)

Casa agradável e bem arrumada, tem tudo o que é necessário para uma ótima estadia e boa localização. O anfitrião é muito atencioso e disponível. Adoramos os nossos dias em Aljezur e recomendamos a casa charmosa! Die Einrichtung war sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Alles war vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern hat hervorragend funktioniert. Das Appartement ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen und wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Séjour très agréable

Dans cette maison rénovée récemment, construite à flanc de colline, dans le quartier situé au pied du château d'Aljézur, mon amie et moi avons passé un séjour très agréable . Pas besoin de clim. : Grace aux murs en pierres et malgré les plus de 30° à l'extérieur, nous n'avons jamais souffert de la chaleur . Joao et sa femme sont très sympatique et disponible . Really nice apartment

We, Thomas and Karina, really enjoyed our stay in João’s apartment. We have been there for two weeks with our baby and a friend came to visit us for a week. The apartment was perfect for that - neither too small nor too big. The apartment is really good equipped and has everything you need for living and cooking. We absolutely loved the view to the castle and down to the city. João and Susana we’re absolutely helpful, organised a highchair for our baby and even waited till 9pm to welcome us on our arrival. When we will return to Aljezur one day we would love to stay there again.

Buenos días, el apartamento está completamente nuevo y el dueño, João, estuvo siempre pendiente de nosotros. Se trata de un apartamento muy agradable en la ladera del castillo de Aljezur. Ideal para ver amanecer o tomar una copa de vino al atardecer. Muy cerca de la maravillosa playa de Aljezur, una de las más agradables para pasear, donde desemboca el río Aljezur. Desde este pueblo se puede llegar a un montón de playas encantadoras, acantilados y a la sierra de Monchique. Un saludo.

Lovely place, lovely people, in a quiet town on the hill

We had a great time in this apartment. Ate outside twice a day every day; enjoyed the newly updated kitchen equipment, and were surprised at how well the internet worked (most of the time). Host and host's aunt were incredibly helpful, including driving us to scooter rental, and quick to come by regarding any questions or issue. Highly recommended.
