We really enjoyed our stay in Paphos! The apartment is located right across from the beach and close to many good restaurants. Also a grocery store right beside. Nick was a great host, very welcoming. We would recommend :)

Thanks Jacek for your nice and positive comments. As I have mentioned to you once you left, I have started to renovate the apartment. I will put a completely new kitchen, new cooker, oven, fridge, new TV & TV stand and small table, new kitchen table and chairs, new cupboards in the new bedrooms and new beds and a new table for the balcony. I will update my listing with the new photos most probably by the first week of April 2023.
Hope to see you back in Cyprus in the near future.

Ideal location
Clean apartment with balcony to sit and enjoy the sun and is ideally located. We had a problem with the cooker as only 3 out of the 4 'rings' were available for use, and the oven would not work. The charge for air conditioning was 10 Euros a night, which we felt was a bit too expensive. The kitchen was equipped with basic necessities, but a nice touch would be to provide new equipment and dishes. The apartment is ideally located for visiting Tombs of the Kings or nearby shops and the bus stop is practically on the doorstep.

Thank you very much for taking the time to put a review about your recent stay at my apartment which just have been renovated with complete new bathroom and all floors. I am sorry to hear that you felt the oven was not working as its an electric one and needs to be switched on from the main switch plus the timer and it will start working. If you would have contacted me while here I would have advised you regarding this. I will check regarding the "ring" at the cooker. The air conditioning as per our quote wan't inclusive in the agreed price. A/C charge is Euro 5.00 per unit per day as this from our experience is the average non profit cost this time of the year. I did offer you though alternatively as well to every client to read the electricity meter at the beginning of the stay and again at the end and to just pay the actual cost of electricity you use. Pros and Cons
Pros:
--It was about a 5-minute walk from the beach. I loved taking my coffee down to the water in the morning. Also, about 5-minutes from a good grocery store, and a short walk into the Old Town.
--I very much appreciated that the host picked me up from the airport and left a good selection of food to get me started off.
Cons:
--The apartment had been cleaned, but it needed a good deep cleaning. Things like the blinds and the fan in the bedroom were very dusty, and the light switches were grimy. Having read the earlier reviews describing the apartment as very clean, I suspect it must have gotten a little rundown in the few years since the last reviews were posted.
--I left earlier than planned because of a problem with cockroaches. In fairness to the host, he did respond very quickly to my complaint and I believe he would address any issues quickly if given the chance. Coming from a northern climate, I'm not accustomed to them and didn't recognize the problem until it became too much for my anxiety to tolerate.

Thank you very much for taking the time for the review and staying for a month in our apartment. It would have been appreciated though if you would have pointed out your issues right in the beginning of your stay as I would have been able to take care of them immediately (a blind had been ordered already for replacement). Cyprus is very dusty and cockroaches occasionally can appear due to the Cyprus climate but with the correct treatment can be controlled immediately. We have checked the flat daily after you have left and could not find any other cockroach.
Talking to the maintenance company of the complex we were advised that maybe renovation works have caused the appearance of cockroaches.
Unfortunately as mentioned in your email dated 11th of February you had to leave two weeks earlier due to commitments at home. I explained to you that I was not able to offer you the requested 1 month refund as I had given you a discounted 2 month winter rate plus I had blocked the flat for the 2 month for you and finding a replacement booking at short notice has not been possible.
My husband and I booked Nick's apartment for 4 weeks. My sister and brother in law joined us for part of the time. The apartment was perfect because:
1. It had everything we needed for a long stay. A great cooker and a washing machine too. The bedrooms were a good size. The apartment is on the 2nd floor with a great view of the sea in the morning while having a coffee on the balcony. Perfect.
2. The location was fantastic. Walkable to the harbour. An easy bus ride to Coral Bay and Corallia Beach.
3. Venus Beach 5 mins walk and the best beach we visited. Sunbeds and umbrellas available at a very good price.
4. Nick was the perfect host. We booked him for the airport transfers which were cheaper than a taxi.
5. Also hired a car from Nick for a few days which was very reasonably priced.
6. A couple of unforeseen tiny issues (kettle stopped working) but Nick responded immediately to my message and brought a new one.
7. The apartment was very reasonably priced to for a long stay.
8. A Lidl next door so not far to go for supplies.
9. The TV had British channels but we didn't watch TV much :o)
10. Good restaurants and bars all within walking distance.
If you are considering this apartment I would suggest you book it. If you only need 1 bedroom Nick has another apartment opposite or if you are looking for something much, much bigger Nick can help with that too.

I will take this opportunity to mentioned that our two-bedroom apartment has been renovated in March 2023. We installed a completely new kitchen, new cooker, oven hood cooker, microwave, fridge & freezer, kettle, toaster, kitchen table with 4 chairs. In the siting room, new sitting sofa, TV stand, small sitting table and a new smart TV 43’. A new table on the balcony with 4 chairs. In the bedroom new cupboards, new beds & bed sides. All the apartment has been fresh painted.
I hope you will visit Cyprus again next year.

I have stayed at this apartment before and it is in an excellent condition and is well equipped with all needs. The location is ideal with good local amenities and a regular bus service to all local areas. The land lord is very helpful and will promptly help with any problems that may arise.

It is fully furnished and was spotless on our arrival. Nick the landlord is excellent and was very prompt to respond to any requests. Every thing worked as it should and the WiFi was well up to speed. I can highly recommend this apartment whether it be a long or short stay.

Perfect Holiday Home
We stayed for 5 days and it was just perfect. The appartment was really nice and honestly everything you need in a household you will find there. We also liked the location since it is dircetly connected through bus 615 to the city center and nice beaches - and the view from the balkony to the sea is perfect to relax. Another plus is the nice pool downstairs! Last but not least Nick and his wife were really helpful and nice. So all in all we can really recommend to stay here for your holidays in Cyprus.

Ideal location great for walking.
Nick's apartment is in a great location, there is a Lidl supermarket right next door which is good if you want to self cater. The closest beach is across the road a lovely quiet sandy cove. You can walk from there along the coastal path to the Harbour area, about a 40 minute stroll or you can walk along the main road which is a shorter walk. There are loads of bars/restaurants all within walking distance. The old town is close by, approx 15 min walk. The number 615 bus stops right outside and will take you to Coral bay or the other way to the Harbour. You certainly could manage without a car. We stayed for 4 weeks and our family with a baby came to stay, Nick provided high chair and cot. Having Nick to collect us from the airport was great and part of the deal. My son in law also hired a car from Nick at a really competitive price with a baby seat included in the price.
We were there in Jan/Feb and I would advice people to take a torch as the outside wasn't lit and the lights on the stairs always went out before you could reach the top! We loved Paphos and will return again next year.

Great Value
Apartment Owner, Nikos Kyriakides, was most helpful to us during our stay as he also runs one of the local Car Hire firms and was able to give us an excellent deal on Car Hire.
The Apartment was quiet (a blessing compared to some centrally located Apartments we've stayed at), clean and comfortably furnished.
The Owner advised us that he was looking to upgrade & refurbish the Apartment in the near future, with a new Bathroom on his list as part of the upgrade.
The only 'niggles' were the Oven (only 2 Rings operational & the Oven needed a 'knack' to get it working) & the Double Bed had 2 Single Duvets instead of a Double Duvet. However, these are small issues and easily rectified by the Owner, Nikos.
All in all a very pleasant Apartment for our 2 weeks in Cyprus.

Excellent apartment, all suit to wonderful holiday
Those 5 stars apartment are fully equipped for carefree holiday, but above all its location!Five minutes to Venus beach, another 10min to municipal, 50 meters to Lidl supermarket, 2 minutes to nearest restaurants. Greek, Irish, French, Chinese restaurants are only 50meters away! One minute to bus stop of 615, so within next 10 m you are either on Paphos Habour or Coral Bay, which is on opposite route.
Ideal place for family holiday even with small children, silent and peaceful.
Service, provided by owners was more than wonderful, pick up from and to airport, full explanation of everything, that you need or might need at holiday.
I do recommend this apartment!
