Room was great for 3 couples, comfortable and clean. View was great. Honua Kai is our gonto place to stay on Msui. Close to Lahaina and Whalers village. Beach is wonderful too.

This is a gorgeous condo with fantastic views of the beach/ocean, the island of Molokai and the resort's main pool. We could watch the whales from the lanai while we were there. The lanai is in the shade most of the day which allows for panoramic views without the heat of the sun all day. (When you want sun, you can go to the beach or pool deck.) The well stocked kitchen, fun tropical furniture/artwork, and live music from Duke's Restaurant were just a few of the things that really made this place feel special. Things to experience... Sunset Cruise, Papi's Ohana's cinnamon rolls, Bad Ass Coffee's granitas, Dukes for dinner, Castaway Cafe for breakfast, snorkeling and boogie boarding out front and the boardwalk to Whalers' Village.

This was a dream vacation!

This was a dream vacation! The accommodations of the unit and the property made a great vacation even better. The unit is very spacious and well set up for 4 adults. We made good use of the kitchen as well as the wifi and speakers available in all of the rooms. The property had everything we needed right there within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

It was wonderful , i would recommend the following-- Private chief Jason Raffin he was awesome! I would defiantly recommend him, the food was delicious. Cleaning people come 2 times and they did a wonder job. Maxi taxi they were excellent, they got all our luggage in the taxi and super nice. Bell hops were all super nice and help us a lot, there was one guy Rexie was awesome. Forever Maui Photographer- did a nice job, even though it rained, some of the time. The pictures turned out nice. Thank you again for everything my family had a wonderful time Linda

Great Unit - Needs Maintenance

***Be aware that this unit is owned by a property management company so the resort staff will not respond to any issues with the unit.***This unit is in a nice location on the resort property with a large lanai with views of the ocean. The unit has a nice layout and attractive furniture and finishes. However, it clearly isn’t getting the maintenance it needs. The dishwasher was broken as was the coffee maker and one of the kitchen cupboard doors was hanging on just one hinge. On the last 2 days of our stay, the AC thermostat for the living room/kitchen area. Probably just batteries, but our calls were not returned by the management company so it was not fixed while we were there.

Good morning, we are so happy you had a fabulous stay! Please note *we are* the resort staff - and always here to help. On your next visit, please note the instructions for operation of the appliances. For the dishwasher you must first select the type of wash cycle you desire, then press start. If you just press start nothing will happen. For the coffee maker simply move the selector to 'brew' as leaving it in the 'warm' position will not trigger the drip action. We tightened the hinge and the a/c is blowing ice cold and we are excited for your next visit! Mahalo, KBM Hawaii

Bad company

Although this review has nothing to do with the location, but it reflects how awful an experience can be when dealing with bad companies. KBM is the worst company in Lahaina! They may be tied with vacasa for crappy service! They have no hotline. They close at 5 and arent opened on the weekends! The only person we dealt with that was decent was Kevin! Everyone else needs to be Fired! This is coming from someone that’s been in business for 20 years! Start fresh! Find people that like people for god sakes! And get a 24 hour hotline. It’s required by law in Hawaii!

The property was amazing. We loved all the amenities. The only thing was when we needed something, we were not sure where to go? There was no one to go to in the lobby except the bell desk. The bell desk was an amazing group of men. They were swamped already with helping people with their cars, then they had to assist people with keys for their units. People were hurt and needed first aid and they attended to them and referred them to security. Everybody that had a question went to them. They were so patient with us all. They need more help. They look like they were short handed as well. I felt sorry for them doing all the work. There was no one else to go to. They were working very hard and never complained. Please give them more people.

Perfect for our family!

The condo was exactly as pictured in the listing. Very easy checkin process. We had an issue with the dryer and I reached out to the property manager and it was addressed the same day. Beautiful property and very nice resort. We would stay here again.

This condo made our family vacation

This condo made our family vacation very enjoyable. The layout of having one master bedroom separate from the others worked well for us with a 1 year old along for the trip. The spacious living area gave us all room to stretch out and got even better when the whole wall of windows was opened to the lanai. All the bedrooms had very comfortable beds and having three zones for the air conditioning made it easy to tailor the temperature to our needs. We ate breakfast either on the lanai or at the dining room table daily and even cooked a number of dinners in the gourmet kitchen. As this was a family trip we didn't have too much wine in the wine fridge but it worked out very well for keeping our water and other drink bottles cool and convenient. The underground parking was very convenient and we were able to park multiple cars. We also made use of the fitness room a few times. It had a nice variety of equipment and TV screens on most of the cardio machine with headphone jacks to give you options. The variety of pools on the property was a hit with both adults and kids. The shallow pool for little kids has enough chairs around it that it is easy to find room. The water slide was to big for our little kid but was still enjoyed by some of the adults. We ate at the restaurant on the grounds twice but with such a well set up kitchen in our condo it was actually easier to eat in. They do have barbeques on the ground by the pool but we didn't end up using them. We did use the beach chairs that were provided and had a great day at the beach down by black rock. That all said we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for your next vacation.

Stay in Maui 2022

We have stayed at Honua Kai twice before, both times in the Hokulani building. This was the first time in the Konea building. 6 family members, stayed in Konea 349, 3 BR, 3 BA. Plenty of room for all, and the bathrooms are very large. Partial ocean view was fine, but not as good as other units we have stayed. For best ocean views, always stay in rooms with odd numbers and lower numbers ( for example room 309 is better than 349). Underground parking was not always available if you got home after 8pm. You would have to park outside near the Hokulani building and walk to the Konea tower. Easy access to pool and beach. Dukes restaurant is a must for breakfast and dinner and is in the property Hula pie is a must!! Go to Napili cove, Fleming Beach, and be certain to walk the Coastal trail from either the parking lot at Napili Kai, or the opposite end from Ironwood village near Kapalua. eat at Sea House restaurant in Napili Kai. Mama’s Fish House in Paia was a little disappointment this year. Has always been one of our favorites.Still we highly recommend you go there. Also there is the Paia Fish market in Lahaina to eat. Overall a great time with family

I really enjoyed the stay. The unit was very nice. Repairs for several items should be done.

We enjoyed the stay. I asked for king sheets and they were never delivered even though guest services said they were on their way. No follow up. There’s an ongoing leak in hall closet and mold is growing. That isn’t safe. I called guest services and they weren’t aware.

Excellent property with tons of perks! Great view perfect situation with three master bedrooms and three separate bathrooms. Pool was clean food was good at the restaurant close by. View off the balcony was of course not oceanfront but perfect. I would say that the sheets were a little cheap for such an expensive place. Towels a little too used for such an expensive place. And lack of kitchen supplies. Other than that it was a great place to rent

Wonderful vacation!

We loved this unit! The property is beautiful!! It was so clean and comfortable for our family! The kitchen is lacking a few essential items which made it hard to use the oven. There weren’t any oven mitts, cookie sheets or measuring cups. And some of the beach equipment is broken (one umbrella and chair). But overall it was wonderful! We would definitely stay here again.
