Our stay on Lake Ann was very good -
The kayaks and paddle boards were the best thing ! Beds were comfortable, house is centrally located to many popular Michigan sites - Cherry republic, sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland fishing town, Glen Lake, & Lake Michigan beaches. Really great family vacation -

Nice , clean ,comfortable
Enjoyed time with family, nice quiet location on lake Ann. Great for playing with kayaks and paddle boats. Great place to relax and unwind.
Another great vacation. Updates to the house made our stay even better than last year! Thank you so much, Katherine, for sharing your home with us again.
What an amazing property! We traveled with a large boat and found enough parking for several boats and trucks, beautiful views of the lake, and the most comfortable beds any of us had slept in, in a while. We will return to this property and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
Pretty lake with loons. Loved, loved, loved the paddle boat. It made an excellent swim platform. Comfy house with a great deck to enjoy the views. Great room made it an excellent family gathering spot.
Beautiful home in a quiet area. The property is beautiful, home is spacious. Love the open floor plan on the main floor. Beautiful large windows in the living and dining room area. Loved the wrap around deck.
We were able to enjoy the ping pong table in the basement, bikes and kayaks.
Property owner was very quick to respond to questions. Would definitely stay again.
This home is beautiful. Gorgeous views very tranquil. Wish I had a home like this. Description of home was spot on. Bedrooms were very spacious and beds were very comfortable. Thank you for a awesome time in your home. Rent this house. You won't regret it. Use of kayaks was a huge plus. Thanks again.

House was big and the beds were so comfortable! Great location. Clean. Kitchen had everything you could ever need. House was cool inside, I was concerned about no air conditioning but the breeze and shaded lot kept everything really comfortable. One issue we experienced was that every interior door in the house is wood, nice and heavy, but all were swollen from humidity and did not close unless you used a lot of force, and some were not able to close period. Not a huge problem but definitely loud. Overall was a great experience!
My family had the absolute best time!! The house was perfect. Great kitchen with plenty of prep space and everything you could possibly need to make a great meal. I had read other reviews and they all stated the beds were VERY comfortable and they were right!! And the bedrooms were very spacious. The whole house was laid out very nice. Very clean as well. Tons of amenities! The owner responded in a timely manner to any and all questions or inquiries. The location is great too. Not far to get to our charter fishing trip on the bay. I would definitely come back and I strongly recommend this property.

Disappointed
Stayed in 2021 and loved this so much that we booked 2022. The spacious driveway was blocked by a huge boat. Left parking difficult. Lawn was not mowed. Never did get mowed, we had an incident with ticks. Hardwood floors were not swept. We had to wash all counter tops as they were filthy. Had to rearrange the refrigerator and freezer just to get our own groceries in. We really liked the house, but were quite disappointed this year.
The perfect location for a Northern Michigan vacation. A spacious home with all the amenities that we needed. We enjoyed the fishing and kayaking. Everything was great! I especially liked relaxing on the deck. Even on the hottest days, it always seemed there was a cool breeze while reading or just hanging out there. The owner, Katherine, was quick to respond to any questions that I had.
The house fit our needs perfectly. The beds were very comfortable allowing a good night of rest. The boys were early to rise for some fishing and although a bit slow, some very nice fish were caught. The location was perfect for easy daytrips to many great destinations. Our youngest got engaged providing us with a brand new daughter-in-law. He has now moved to be closer to his fiance leaving us with a bittersweet empty nest. The house was perfect for the post-engagement celebration with plenty of room for both families. Good lifelong memories were made by all. That is the hallmark of a good vacation!
We stayed here for our vacation with three generations of family. There was plenty of space and special things for everyone to do. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, swimming, campfires, relaxing on the deck, exploring the Lake Ann area, and traveling to the many world-class tourist destinations that are only a 20-30 minute drive away. We would absolutely stay here again.
We loved the lake and privacy. The cabin has all the features for a proper stay, just need a little bit of cleaning on basement and outside. Some repairs on windows and curtains . Overall was good stay. Thank you for having us
