Perfect stay

I could not fault the property at all. The location was great with local amenities close by. The view was stunning and the apartment had everything we could possibly need. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again soon.

Great place but don’t tell anyone else

We loved the property in all ways, and we stayed for four weeks and would not hesitate to return.The only slight negative was we felt the towels and bed linen could do with updating, but this is something the hosts must continually have to do every so often.

The apartment is just as it is pictured on the listing. Coming into the lounge area in the morning to see the sunrise was absolutely stunning. The apartment is clean and tidy and has everything you need for your stay. The check in was excellent and there was fruit, water, coffee pods, wine, beer and much more for us on arrival. There are Chiringuitos to walk to locally and Altea is about 15 minute walk. We loved our stay and are looking to rebook next year.

Fabulous apartment in a great location

This is a really lovely place to stay. We liked the decor, location and the facilities at the apartment. Easy access to the tram and local supermarket. We will didn’t want to leave. As others have said use the path to get to town rather than walking along the road as it’s far more pleasant. Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Wonderful location and apartment

My wife and I recently spent two weeks at this lovely apartment overlooking a quiet harbour close to Altea. The area of El Portet is a relatively peaceful location with some residential properties as well as holiday lets. There's a couple of chiringuitos close by as well as a few restaurants. The apartment itself is owned by the Ribes family who we were lucky to meet. They were so welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure we had a fantastic holiday. Thank you all! The view from the balcony was such a joy to behold every morning and we had many sunshine breakfasts there. Great way to start the day! There's even a small terrace at the rear to enjoy the late afternoon/evening sun. The apartment is fully equipped with a flat screen TV, very comfortable double bed, washing machine, oven, microwave etc. and there were several nice touches in terms of additional extras e.g. the supply of fresh oranges for that morning jugo de naranja! Access to the town is easy by way of a 25 minute walk ( we recommend the footpath round the back near the tram station to avoid the main road). The tram itself is hourly, cheap and quick with ready access to all local areas including Benidorm and Calpe. Altea is a beautiful town with plenty of opportunities for all kinds of activities. We really enjoyed the electric bikes hired from an excellent nearby shop Top Bikes and also some local beach and country walks. All in all a fantastic holiday in a lovely apartment located in a beautiful area and guess what, we're going back next year!

Perfect place to relax!

Apartment was nicely decorated, clean, very homey, peaceful and well equipped (as described) with a wonderful view from the balcony. The beach, a very nice restaurant and a supermarket are just a few minute walk away. To Altea is only a 20 minute walk. Calpe and Benidorm are easy to reach by a local train. The local train station is a 15 minute walk from the apartment. The host was very helpful and friendly, he also answered every question that we had. The only con that we came upon, was that the bedroom was a bit too warm during the night. An AC could help with that. We loved the apartment, it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy life. We will definitely visit again.
