Woodpecker Cottage is a beautiful stone detached cottage near the market town of Ludlow. It boasts a stunning open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and luxurious sitting area with an electric stove. There is also a king-size double bedroom and a bathroom. Woodpecker Cottage is ideal for a romantic couple looking to take a break away from a busy lifestyle and delve into the wondrous countryside.

Today the castle is open all year round and hosts a wide range of events including outdoor theatre, food, art and literature festivals and many antique and art fairs. Below the castle, Millenium Green offers a large public riverside green and weir and provides excellent indoor and outdoor dining facilities via the Green Cafe located right on the riverside. A traditional open-air market takes place in the town square every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday throughout the year. The town boasts a many places to eat and drink , including Michelin starred pubs and restaurants as well as a number of exclusive boutique style clothes and gift shops.
