Charmed Vacation Villa in the heart of the Marche region, Villa San Pellegrino is located in a beautiful panoramic hill, with a wonderful view of 360 degrees: you can admire the Adriatic Sea looking East, Macerata to the North, the Sibillini Mountains on the West, and our Olive Tree fields to the South. The Villa Park is extended in 30. 000sqm, far from the city traffic, with secular trees and green, allowing privacy and relaxation. Vacation on privacy and romantic escapes.

Villa San Pellegrino dates back to the 1800, and it has been completely renovated in the 1990s. It belongs to a noble and very well known Italian family, and is considered one of the best "Villa d'Epoca" in the region.
Moreover, the consecrated Private Chapel inside the park, dates back to the 1460 and it's marked in the archives as one of the oldest Churches in Macerata.

Double bed with bathroom, room with single bed, fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining room, billiard room, bathroom, laundry room. All rooms / areas have out-admittance (except for the bedrooms). A doble-room with en-suite.

TV room, bathroom service, coat closet, tea room and large terrace facing the pool.

The second floor includes 4 king-size bedrooms, all with their own en-suite bath and one hydro-massage tub. There is also a gallery which can be used as a study / reading room.

A third floor with a bathroom, a sitting room (excellent for reading or watching TV) and a terrace with a breathtaking panoramic view.

OUTDOOR
The villa is completely fenced with an automatic gate. Offers a 250 square meter pool with a maximum depth of 160 centimeters and 130 centimeters minimum depth. This pool is lighted and has a diving board. The pool area also offers patio and lounge furniture. Renovated tennis court (hard surface) and bocce field.

Ideal vacation for family!

Built in the 1460, this is a unique feature of this property, it is fully eligible for sermons and other religious events on request.

A Fabulous Experience!

We spent a week at the Villa last September and it was everything we hoped it would be. Roberta was so great to work with and not only covered every planning detail, she was full of good ideas and suggestions once there to make the stay even more memorable. We had a very good holiday!

We were a group of five German families staying at the villa San Pellegrino in the last two weeks of August this year. The villa in the old Venetian style was great, and also the whole area. One of my favorites was the terrace – while our breakfast or dinner, we could see all the small villages around - a fantastic view - since the villa is on the top of a hill. Everything was clean – thanks to the girl who was coming every day. Roberta was very nice – she gave us tips for restaurants or told us which beach allow dogs… even her father was bringing fresh figs!! So we felt very comfortable during our stay. I cannot understand the negative feedback from some people here. If you read the contract, everything is in there - in my opinion a fair condition. And of course if you damage something or if you need more electricity, you have to pay for! One thing in addition: During our stay, there was the terrible earth quake in Italy – which was approximately 100km away. Of course we felt it – but the villa kept stable. Roberta told us, that he villa was built also regarding quakeproof construction work. We can suggest this villa to everyone, who wants to have a personal and exclusive holiday with friends. Thank you Roberta for a great holiday! Perhaps we will see you again the next year! ;)

Traumhafte Ferien - Tolle Gastgeberin

Wir waren 8 Personen und hatten eine großartige Zeit. Roberta ist die perfekte Gastgeberin und ist immer ansprechbar. Das Haus und die Lage sind traumhaft, der Poolbereich ein Genuss. Am letzten Abend hat uns Roberta zwei Pizzaiolos organisiert, die für uns ein Pizza-Tasting veranstaltet haben. Wir waren uns alle einig, dass das wohl die besten Pizzen waren, die uns jemals serviert wurden - ohne Übertreibung. So ging ein perfekter aber dann doch leider zu kurzer Urlaub mit einem authentischen italienischen Abend zu Ende. Wir kommen wieder im nächsten Jahr.

La villa è in una posizione panoramica strepitosa e offre tutto ciò di cui si può avere bisogno per godersi una vacanza in totale privacy, circondati solo dalla natura e dal silenzio. L'unico suono è il canto delle cicale, un posto magico che abbiamo voluto regalare a nostra figlia per il suo diciottesimo compleanno. Avremmo voluto fermarci di più ma purtroppo abbiamo passato una sola settimana che ahimé è volata troppo in fretta. Grazie di tutto.

wonderful holiday!

Within the category of high-end summer accommodation, San Pellegrino deserves 5 stars. Our extended family of 14 stayed there for one week and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and in excellent condition, the pool is lovely and the views and sunsets were divine! Roberta, the owner/manager was engaged, helpful and knowledgeable about everything we thought to ask Supermarkets and restaurants are easily accessed 10-15 minutes away. On one evening, we made use of the chef/catering service for a special family celebration The event superseded our exceptions in every way. The food was incredible, service excellent, the table settings and and decorations were of the quality that you'd expect at an elegant wedding. There was even a firework display, timed for when we cut the cake! It should be noted that the 4 bedrooms on the top floor shared air-conditioning from a central room, requiring bedroom doors to be open to get the benefit. This was not a problem for us since the 6 children of our group all slept up there and they were happy to have doors open. (Note: the adults in our group slept in the main bedrooms on the floor below and these rooms are individually air conditioned.) Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely go back. We again would like to thank Roberta for al of her help. She is very kind, thoughtful and professional.

The most beautiful landscape

Villa San Pellegrino was the most beautiful and romantic experience we had in Italy! We went with our big family and Roberta helped us organizing super tasting dinners in the house. Beware!

Warning! This may be a beautiful house and surroundings. However, The people running it need to learn the meaning of service. Despite this being marketed as a luxury property we had to supply ourselves with toilet paper, gas lighter for the stove and changing of light bulbs. When ordering a dinner by chef, they tried to charge the children for wine when they drank water and add costs to the bill which we had not agreed on. We were never let into the chapel and the pool lights were never put on despite us requesting this. Also the ques for the billiard table were locked away and were only reluctantly brought out. Only the rooms on the middle floor were fit for sleeping in. The rooms on the top floor were poorly ventilated, crammed and would fill up with mosquitoes every night despite closed windows. Finally when leaving, the owners would first not give us a receipt for our payment. And when demanding this and threatening with calling the police, they gave way and printed a receipt calling us nasty names, stingy and saying we belonged in a camping sight. The house itself was beautiful, but maintenance was sloppy. Beware!

We appreciated your compliments on our property: we are in fact proud of having proven record of high quality and high satisfactory rate from our guests in these ten years of activity. However, your negative feedback do not reflect the actual reality and is misleading to our future valued guests. Before you left, your opinion about our property and your stay was: “one of the best and much more beautiful than the one we rented last summer in Spain”. Your opinion dramatically changed when came to the time to pay the extra chef service at the end of your stay, where prices ( that are general market prices in Italy or even lower and have never been negotiated by our usual valued guests ) where several weeks before agreed with you. Also, important, you have not wanted to give the security deposit as regulation for all properties' rented. You clearly showed the intention to not pay the extra service and leave the property and started complaining just on that time. Our mistake was to trust clients like you, but we have never experienced such a behavior before. That is why I firmly answer to your comment with the following information: Light bulbs should only be replaced by qualified personnel. Children are never charged for alcoholic beverages. Chapel is a holy place and should be treated as such, however each and every guest is always allowed to walk in, pray, or even just admire and take pictures with our supervision. The billiard is fully functional and available for our guests. All sleeping rooms are uniquely shaped, but offer the same quality of mattresses, linens, blankets and pillows. Mosquitos are very common in outdoor spaces, however we don't have living indoor mosquito. We always provide receipts of payment and any other documentation required by the Italian law as well as ad hoc requests made by our guests at no additional cost. Hope this helps better understand the above review. We had to communicate your name to this site to avoid other properties’ owners to receive the same treatment.

Overpriced and very poor owner conduct

Just a note to warn of dodgy practices with the deposit. Suspicions were raised when a huge cash deposit was demanded (and wouldn't accept bank transfer). At the end of our stay the owner noticed a small mark on a sofa and withheld the cost of an entire new sofa - €500. Plus another €93 for 'extra electricity'. When we were already paying several thousand euros for a week that is beyond acceptable - and an entirely arbitrary amount decided by herself on the spot and not open for negotiation. We rent out a property ourselves and found this owner's handling of the issue extremely poor. She was also frequently lingering around complaining about trivial issues, starting the changeover a day early, so we didn't have the privacy or relaxation we could reasonably expect. A shame, as it was an otherwise enjoyable stay - great pool (despite snakes) and plenty of space

Thank you for the review. We take our guests feedback very seriously at Villa San Pellegrino to continuously improve our service, however we were saddened to receive such review. The group in question has done multiple damages to the property unlike anyone else before and the deposit kept will cover slightly all the repairs needed. The rental agreement was reviewed and signed by the group leader, however the guests still behaved with disrespect to staff and to the property itself. All the guests names have been signaled to this site and other rental portals to ensure and protect other properties from what happened to us.

Spectacular Family Reunion

Villa San Pellegrino was the best choice ever for our family reunion! All my family and I met in Italy after almost 3 years (we are all Italians but living around the World) and we spent a beautiful week in The Marche, a great no-turistic Italian region! The Villa is amazing and very comfortable, but most of all, the owner Roberta was the best and kindest host ever! She arranged some tours for us and we had the chance to visit a local winery and even a shoemaker artisan nearby. We had few dinners in the Villa, really delicious! Place, region and services strongly recommended, even from an Italian! Thanks Roberta! Villa San Pellegrino e' stata la nostra miglior scelta per incontrarci dopo tanti anni! La mia famiglia ne e' stata completamente entusiasta! La regione Marche e' una delle più autentiche d'Italia e non turistica, il luogo perfetto per assaporare un po' del nostro Paese! La Villa e' straordinaria e molto spaziosa! Ma soprattutto a far la differenza e' la padrona di casa Roberta, con noi sempre disponibile e gentile! Ci ha organizzato dei tour e degustazioni presso le cantine locali e siamo anche riusciti a visitare un calzolaio che produce scarpe Made in Italy su misura. A magic wedding and vacation in Villa!

I have been in this amazing Villa to celebrate a dear friend's wedding in September. Thanks to this occasion i had the chance to spend an entire week in this wonderful place at the end of this summer. What can i say, the villa is really beautiful, with a huge and classy swimming pool surrounded by olives trees. I slept in one of the elegant bedroom with personal bathroom. Speaking about the weeding party, everything was perfect, the ceremony in the small e cozy church inside of the Villa, the dinner and the after party outside looking at the hills around the villa. Last but not least the Villa's staff has been amazing, always available and nice, making me and my friends more than welcome! thanks again for this magical experience!

Perfect!

The best word to describe this villa and the host- Roberta- is Perfect. We have spent one fantastic week! The villa is spacious and beautifully fit, it has an enormous park around it, great swimming pool, very picturesque view onto the hills and Macerata. We also had our wedding celebration at the villa, organised by Roberta, and the quality of services like dinner, decorations, photographer, music band, as well as brides hairdressing and make up were beyond our wildest dreams and expectations. Everything was worth every penny and more. Our guests came from all over the globe and were extremely impressed. Sono stato ospite della villa con la mia famiglia. La descrizione del sito rende solo in parte il clima di tranquillità, bellezza e benessere che si respira in questo luogo. La struttura, elegante e lussuosamente rifinita, è armoniosamente inserita in un parco molto curato e ombreggiato da piante secolari, dal quale si gode una vista panoramica stupenda che spazia dalle colline al mare. Degni di nota anche i servizi complementari offerti (piscina, campo da tennis, sala biliardo) che consentono all'ospite il più totale relax in un contesto di riservatezza incomparabile. We were stunned by the photos of the property (reviewing on the internet), but when we arrived it was even better. The property is spacious in all ways and is truly one of a kind, with its majestic location! The house itself is very beautiful and is recognized by high quality and elegant details in the living areas. The kitchen is large and very practical when many people are using it at the same time or when preparing a nice evening meal. The property has fantastic outside areas. From the the living room of the house you can enter the perfect terrace for morning coffee and breakfast. The pool area is quite big and has a great layout. The tennis court is above the level you could expect in a private villa. Perfect for matches during the day! Do not hesitate to order food from the menu offered by the Villas chef service. This was truly amazing. All in all our stay was perfect in all ways. We can gladly recommend the villa as the perfect place for your italian holiday. Best regards Eirik

Absolute Fantastic!!!

We were 10 (children and adults) who lived in the villa one week in july. We have traveled several times to Italy and this Villa is the best place we've stayed. A stunning Villa in an unbeatable location, stunning sunsets, great swimming pool suitable for adults and children, tennis court ... ie..everything that make your holiday perfect. We can highly recommend to spend your holiday in Villa San Pellegrino. We want to especially recommend you to order the local food arranged in the Villa by Roberta (the Manager). The dishes are an incredible journey in local taste with the absolute best of the Italian cuisine. Roberta and Valentina, thank you for making it a memorable stay and a lovely vacation for us.

Absolutely Amazing!

You just have to visit fabulous Villa Pellegrino! This is a place where you will feel so welcome, so special and so relaxed. A party of fourteen strong wills and expectations - all agree on that this is the one place to spend quality time together. You will find that Roberta is more than a great organizer and guide. She is an absolutely amazing woman with great warmth, always there to help out (no matter how small an issue) and she has a very relaxed to be around. This lady made us feel welcome from day one of our bookning! As a party of 14, 8 adults and 6 children, we had some differences in preference when it came to "having a great holiday". Let´s just say that we are ALL more than pleased! The house offers everythíng a sporty and active child could ever want and the same goes for the adults. On top of that, great "high end fashion" shopping at nearby outlets, amazing views, culture and architecture around the corner and beaches in easy reach. And the Italian food! We hugely recomend the chef that Roberta uses for dinner parties at the villa! Genuine Italian cooking, region specific dishes and wine from nearby wine yards that you can visit and buy wine from. You will feel as though you are in the lap of luxury- because you will be. Please experience Italy the authentic, classy way as should be intended...for any occasion.. This surprisingly affordable getaway will make you happy for years to come as the most intelligent, friendly, family-oriented staff will make you feel part of the their family! For me, it is no longer, "When in Rome," it is now "When in Macerata"

Relax yourself!

The perfect place where you can turn off your mind and relax yourself! An amazing villa, a elegant home furnishings, so many comfortable rooms, a excellent service. I spent there a week with some friends and the time has passed very quickly. We enjoyed spending the day at the pool or playing billiard and tennis. At any time you are surrounded by a beautiful landscape, that you can enjoy both day and night. Every day we tasted many delicious dishes and sometimes we went out to try some of the many restaurants in the area, which can be reached in a few minutes by car, all nestled in the hills of Marche...Wonderful!!! We had a great time there and we are looking forward to come back again!!

A Little Slice of Heaven

My stay in Villa San Pellegrino was awesome. The property was very clean and service was excellent. We had a very relaxing and reinvigorating family reunion. Also, we booked a few dinners on the property, the chef cooked such superb food with a great wine selection and the price was just worth each penny. It was hard for us to leave the property for site seeing and other tourist attractions since we were so comfortable and relaxed by the pool and the park itself but it is definitely worth checking out the surroundings. We certainly are coming back!

Unforgettable experience

I need to say that my visit to Macerata was incredible! It started with a fantastic communication with the owners of the Villa. They where very kind and helpful in order to make our stay as smooth and hassle-free as possible. I have been around quite alot but never experienced such a humble and nice service as they provided both prior and during our stay. The Villa itself is paradise! There was nothing missing. The kids loved the pool, church, pool-table, tennis-court etc.. There were plenty of activities on the area. Even though the pictures are nice..It is even prettier in reality! The sunset over hills is absolutely breathtaking. To sum it up: Probably the best and most relaxing vacation we've been to. We are definitely going back!
