This beautiful and cozy apartment is distinguished by its careful decoration, full of details, comfort and fantastic views to Funchal bay.
Recently refurbished, this elegant apartment has three bedrooms: one suite with double bed and a private bathroom, two bedrooms with two single beds each, one shared bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The property has the capacity to accommodate a maximum of six guests.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Guests have easy access to several restaurants in the surrounding area. There are several bars and cafés nearby the building. Most shops, shopping centres and supermarkets are a five to ten-minute walk away.
This flat is situated twenty minutes away from the famous Farmers’ Market (Mercado dos Lavradores), the historic centre of Funchal (locally known as ‘Zona Velha’) and the Cathedral. From here you can explore by foot many of the main tourist attractions of our beautiful town. (e.g. The Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc ...)

GETTING AROUND
We recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the flat. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport!

Guests have access to all areas of the flat.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Nice and comfy apartment with great view...not all perfect though

We have been staying here for the past 5 weeks already and generally have been enjoying our stay. The support staff is friendly and helpful and support very quickly. The apartment itself is pretty comfortable and generally nicely equipped and appear as per pics advertised. The entrance to the buildings is not so perfect, but the amazing view makes up for it!

Nice flat with an awesome view over Funchal and the mountain

The flat is bright and big. At the 8th floor with a lift, the view over the city and the ocean is just magnificent. Everything needed was here, salt pepper oil and vinegar which seems rare nowadays was present for us. Overall it was perfect just be ready to walk uphill for 7-10minutes to reach the flat from the city center.

Great Apartment

The apartment on the 8th floor (with lift), offers views over Funchal to the Harbour. The Apartment is well fitted out, spacious, clean, quiet location and a pleasurable short walk into the centre of Funchal. I can highly recommend. There is a little shop across the road that has everything you need for self catering. We loved our holiday and will be back.

Amazing view, good space and easy check in

Our stay at Quinta Deão was good. The check in and check out were easy and conveniente and the platform is quite helpful providing all the necessary information about the apartment. The space is nice and clean, the view over Funchal is amazing, the rooms are comfortable. Overall the apartment has everything you need for a stay in Funchal. The only thing that the group has complained about are the shower heads that are quite broken and used. As well as the sealants in the shower base that could be replaced. The kitchen is nice and well equipped.

A month in Funchal

My partner and I decided to stay in Madeira for the UK lockdown. Quinta Deao was a very convenient location, a spacious clean apartment, and well serviced by Fabio. The living room furniture could do with upgrading - not very comfortable - otherwise a great little place to be to enjoy the sights and tastes of Funchal and Madeira. Thank you to Islands Apart for allowing us to extend our stay with minimum fuss. Fabulous views of the town and the ocean, we saw the sun rise and set, and last night, we saw a full moon from our window. John and Shobana.
