Nice appartment with a beautiful and quiet garden and a nice host. The location is a good starting point for visiting the archaeological sites as well as the Amalfi coast.
Perfect location for visiting Pompei and Herculaneum
The accommodation was exactly as shown and described, it was immaculately clean with lovely comfortable beds and beautiful gardens with the bonus being able to pick oranges and lemons straight from the trees which were lovely. The large fitted kitchen had everything we needed and both bathrooms were supplied with hand and hair washing items. We would definitely stay here again.
Francesco was extremely helpful and even arranged our taxi back to the airport, his mother lives on site and was a lovely lady and very discreet.
Thank you for making our first visit to Italy a very memorable one.
A recommander absolument.
Inside a gated compound, this beautifully remodeled home sits between a lemon orchard, and an orange orchard. The property overlooks the Oplontis archeological excavation, which can be entered walking about 200 yards from the house. Perfectly situated between Pompeii and Herculaneum. Easy access to Naples and the Amalfi coast.
The host, Francesco, was easy to talk to, and his mother lives on the property. (She is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet) Fresh oranges, lemons, and kumquats were provided from the garden.
Secure, gated parking was just 75 yards away, and a few steps from a fresh fruit and vegetable market. There is a small market right next door to the property, as well.
Another block past the parking area is the bus stop and train station. Couldn't be more convenient.
The hosts were kind and gracious, and checked on our needs often.
This home was the perfect base for us while we explored the west coast of Italy from Naples to Sorrento, from Salerno to Amalfi.
