About this property

Breathtaking view of the Pyrenees and the Rhune !! Hillside house

Here is a haven of tranquility at the end of a small private road of 100 meters. It is a 120m2 detached house, nestled on the hillside, which offers a panoramic view of Ascain, La Rhune and the Pyrenees chain, up to 3 Couronnes. Ideally located, it is isolated but close to everything: 5 minutes from Ascain; 15 minutes from the Spanish "ventas"; 8 km from the beaches of Saint Jean de Luz (bus stops 5 minutes) and departure of hiking or mountain biking from the house (Emilie trail ...). No car passage!

On the ground floor :
- an entrance
- an equipped kitchen (large oven, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, dishwasher, dishes, cutlery and utensils, etc.), iron, open to a dining room
- 1 living room, with television, fireplace with insert, sofas and benches, 1 office
- 1 small adjoining veranda
- 1 bedroom (140x190 bed), with cupboard (wardrobe with wardrobe and shelves)
- 1 bathroom, with bath, basin and window (+ hairdryer)
- 1 separate WC, with hand basin

Upstairs :
- 1 bedroom with 1 bed (160x200), with dressing room
- 1 bedroom with 2 beds (90x200), with shelves. Suitable for adults
- 1 mezzanine with 2 beds (90x200), large chest of drawers, 1 desk
- 1 bathroom, with sink, shower, WC

- a covered terrace, about 25m2
- 1 enclosed garden, with access to the mountain and to the trails: unlimited playground !!
- 1 plancha

Très belle maison avec accès direct aux collines basques

Excellent séjour en famille dans cette très belle maison spacieuse, joliment décorée et très agréable à vivre. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la quiétude de la terrasse et du jardin avec une très belle vue sur les alentours. Départ de balade possible depuis la maison, ce qui est très appréciable. Les pottoks ont même été au rendez-vous dans le champ en face de la maison !

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Sophie und André empfangen, die jederzeit erreichbar und sehr freundlich waren. Alles war entspannt und unkompliziert. Das Haus ist wunderbar ruhig und im Grünen gelegen und bietet eine wundervolle Aussicht! Außerdem ist die Lage perfekt, um Ausflüge nach Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Biarritz oder Bayonne zu unternehmen und das wunderschöne Baskenland zu erkunden. Selten hatten wir eine so große Auswahl an Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub! Sophie et André nous ont accueillis très chaleureusement. Ils étaient disponibles à tout moment et très sympathiques. Tout s'est déroulé de manière détendue et simple. La maison est merveilleusement bien située, au calme et en pleine nature, avec une vue magnifique ! En plus, la situation est parfaite pour faire des excursions à Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Biarritz ou Bayonne et pour découvrir le magnifique Pays basque. Nous avons rarement eu un si grand choix de commerces à proximité immédiate. Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances !

Fronts de mer majestueux et petis villages magnifiques

Ma femme, handicapée, et moi-même avons apprécié les promenades en famille au bord de l'océan et dans les beaux villages à l'architecture basque d'une homogénéité remarquable. Nos enfants et petits enfants ont aimé leurs galopades vers le sommet de la Rhune et par tous les sentiers s'enroulant autour des verdoyantes collines.

Nous avons adoré la maison et son emplacement, ainsi que l'accueil chaleureux. Le tout etait tres propre, et la cuisine complète pour qui aime cuisiner. Grand confort pour manger sur la terrasse exterieure. Belle vue en hauteur, au pied de pistes de randonnees. Idealement situe, a proximite de plusieurs villes et villages a visiter, et de points d'attraction. Nous le recommandons fortement!

Ancienne bergerie transformée et équipée pour la location, cette maison (avec son jardin) a permis a chacun des 8 personnes de notre groupe de passer un bon séjour. A nos yeux, idéalement placé entre mer et montagne, au calme, elle dispose d'une très belle vue (dont une perspective sur la Rhune). Entre nous, pour l'anecdote, nous étions tellement bien que j'ai gardé par erreur la clé de la location. Sûrement un acte manqué, que je corrige au plus vite. Bref en un mot : merci
