Take a lovely escape to the great outdoors where the road will lead you to the blissful Bowmont Valley and peace, perfect peace.
Peace, perfect peace
Ideal for two, the Barn at Reedsford is a perfect gateway for walking and cycling in the pure, natural beauty of the Northumberland National Park or simply for pressing the pause button and taking life at a slower pace.
Inside, the overall look is light and bright with a soothing Shaker style scheme for easy, relaxed living. A large powder grey sliding door floods the main open plan living space with light, leading into a super enclosed garden where you can enjoy the views across the hillside or magical starry nights.
The bedroom features high quality linen from the White Company while a characterful original feature window casts a lovely shaft of morning sunlight. This is completed by a large walk in shower with hand crafted artisan tiles adding a decidedly Mediterranean edge.
GROUND FLOOR
The property sits on one floor with an open plan living area.
Kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob, integrated fridge (no icebox), dishwasher, washing machine (no dryer) and microwave. An under counter freezer is available in the outhouse. Dining area with seating for two.
Sitting room with double sofa, armchair, wood burning stove. Freesat flat screen TV, DVD player. Dining space with seating for two.
Bedroom with fixed super king bed, side tables, built-in cupboard with hanging and storage space.
Bathroom with large walk in shower, basin and WC.
Access/boot room with hanging space and bench seating.
OUTSIDE
To the rear of the cottage is a large fully enclosed garden with patio and lawn. Bench seating and outdoor furniture.
Separate external storage is available for outdoor gear, fishing rods and bikes. An under counter freezer is available in the outhouse.
An adjacent barn provides an indoor games room / catering area with picnic tables, wood burning stove, full size table tennis table, a pool table and table football.
PARKING
Private parking directly to the front of the cottage.
BABIES & CHILDREN
A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
DOGS
Two dogs are welcome. Dogs should be clean and dry before access into the wider property. Dogs should be kept off the furniture and are not permitted in the bedroom.
GUEST AMENITIES
The beds feature high quality linen. Towels and guest toiletries are provided. A hairdryer is supplied.
WI-FI & MOBILE COVERAGE
Wi-Fi is available. There is no mobile signal and a landline will be made available for reasonable use by guests.

Underfloor heating throughout the property. Wood burning stove in the sitting room - generous supply of logs.
