This place was amazing. Very clean, organized, and the views can't be beat. The only thing preventing this from a 5 star was the bed... a new mattress or mattress topper would go a very long way!

We booked for the views of the Lake and were not disappointed. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. Our only concern was that there were people above us that made a lot of noise and, as light sleepers, it was difficult to sleep throughout the night.

Lovely Stay

We had a wonderful time. Due to my lack of understanding the area and the language we had a few problems. But they were always very helpful. I would suggest that you pay for a private parking space before you arrive. The property is just as described… But we were a little out of our element and no fault of theirs. Once again they were very helpful

We had an amazing stay!! The view from this apartment is out of this world. The communication was fantastic. I received an App detailing absolutely everything. Before you arrive go to the supermarket and stock up on whatever you need( plenty of wine!!!) and then sit on the balcony and watch the world go by. In the morning have your breakfast here and watch the sun rise and the boats go by. We were busy during the day and it was so lovely to come back to this apartment and just relax. The moon appears at night time right in front of apartment and the peace and quiet is wonderful. We had a fantastic time here and I highly recommend it.

A gem

This was our first trip to Italy and our first stop! We couldn’t have been happier! We got exactly what we wanted—adventure! I have to say, I was challenged with the driving of the small streets around the community but the atmosphere over ruled the challenges! If you have a car, I would recommend reserving the parking space.

Mountain and lake views

We had an amazing time at this lovely apartment which was well equipped and in a convenient location. It was light and airy, the balcony was the perfect spot to sit and take in the panoramic views of the mountains and lakes. Also, all the French doors had insect screens which were needed in the evening, especially if you wanted to watch the beautiful moon come up from behind the mountains, it was quite mesmerising and the reflection across the lake was magical! We were close to a couple of really nice restaurants and a grocery shop that was just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. We did not hire a car, but we were close to a bus stop from where we caught a bus to the town of Como for the day. Just note that the timetable for the bus service is different in August from the rest of the year. We would definitely like to revisit. Rupi and Amarjit

Great place to hunker down and enjoy the view

This apartment has an exquisite view of Lake Como. It was a bit challenging to find so absolutely use the landmark address rather than the actual address that the host provides. I used the actual address and two of my drivers had a hard time locating it. Once I realized there is a landmark address it was quite simple. The place itself is adequate. The AC is quite strong and needed as the temperatures were sweltering at the time of my visit. They also provide a fan for the heat which came in very handy. You should absolutely hire a driver or rent a car with this place. It was impossible to get a taxi to pick me up at this location and keep in mind that the meter starts from where the taxi starts is journey to you so if you do manage to get one it might be very spendy. Luckily I had rides to and from the events I had planned otherwise I might have missed some events due to being unable to secure a taxi. There is nothing around that you can walk to so plan accordingly. Is the view stunning? Yes! Is it a convenient location? No. If you have a rental car, it should be great but be careful of the winding crazy roads. Overall it's a fine place but you will have a hard time if you are relying on public transport or plan on walking.

Tout était parfait! De la procédure d'arrivée jusqu'au départ, nous avons été soutenu de manière très professionnelle. L'appartement était magnifique avec une vue à couper le souffle sur le lac. Des petites attentions nous attendaient également à notre arrivée (sachet de pâtes, gel, shampoing et savon dans la salle de bain,...). La place de parking était un dans ce quartier! Si je pouvais donner 6 étoiles, je le ferais!

Smuk udsigt

Flotteste udsigt fra lejligheden. Vi havde lejet parkering hvilket jeg vil anbefale da det ellers kan være svært i byen. Byen har nogle dejlige restauranter men ellers er der ikke så meget andet at lave i Carate Urio. Vi brugte lejligheden som base til at køre ud fra så det var helt perfekt. Eneste minus var støj fra naboens små børn. Væggene er papirstynde og de er meget tidligt oppe så jeg vil anbefale ørepropper.

Carate Urio ist einer der authentischsten Orte am Comer See. Keine Strandpromenade, nur ein (geöffnetes) Restaurant,, giardino di Lago, das großartig ist, wenig TouristenIn der Wohnung ist alles da. Highlight ist der Blick vom Balkon über die pittoresken Dächer auf den See.Parkplätze etwas schwierig, man muss ein paar Schritte gehen

Vue splendide

La vue sur le balcon est splendide, on ne s’en lasse pas. D’une manière générale nous recommandons chaudement : il y a tout ce qu’il faut (l’acclim, congélateur, lave linge et bcp de rangement dans la chambre) mais quelques détails pourraient être améliorés. Par exemple une plus grande table sur le balcon, à deux c’est limite. Des sièges plus confortables. Le nécessaire pour la cuisine pour débuter est vraiment minimal. Et que trois toutes petites malheureuses cuillères. La conciergerie est très réactive, elle répond quasiment instantanément à toutes les questions. Sinon si vous venez en voiture, demandez une place de parking, c’est 10 euros par jour mais ça vaut le coup, les places sont rares !
