About this property
Amazing sea views, large terrace & lush gardens
This charming family friendly retreat can be found down a winding Cornish country lane which leads to the lovely, lush, sub- tropical Cot Valley. Overlooking a bubbling stream sits a large terrace with incredible sea views perfect for grown up’s sundowners whilst younger guests explore the adventure garden.
Overlooking the terrace, the open plan living space is light and bright with an open plan kitchen and dining space. The cottage is on a reverse level arrangement and the king size bedroom and single bedroom can be found on the top floor along with the sitting room, the kitchen/dining room and family bathroom. Downstairs is the second bedroom and a WC, you have direct access to the garden from here. The sitting room is spacious with bi-folding doors out to the terrace and views straight out to sea. There is an open fire perfect for curling up with a book in the event of rainy days. Just a 10 min stroll from the cottage you will find the stunning Porth Nanven beach, perfect for a morning dip or an evening BBQ. This beach rarely gets busy and you will find you often have it to yourself. The more popular surfing beach Sennen is a 10 minutes drive away. There are many amazing walks in every direction from the cottage as you are right on the South West Coast Path.
Just up the road, St Just is a friendly little town with pubs, cafes and delicatessens as well as several art galleries including Kurt Jackson's Jackson Foundation. Nearby gastro pubs for foodies include The Gurnard’s Head at Zennor, The Old Coastguard at Mousehole as well as The Beach Restaurant at Sennen.
