Nice cottage

We had a great stay in the little gites. Great area, very quiet, Nice for walking the dog. In the neighbourhood of all the sights like Dinan, St. Malo and Mont Saint Michel. The owners received us with a bottle of apple cider and a lot of ideas for our holiday.

Very strange owner

This property was very difficult to find, with very little road signage. We had instructions in French, but my French is limited,I imagine it would be impossible for someone without any French, especially as we were relying on asking for directions from locals. To cut a long story short, we decided to leave after five days and told the owner,he demanded to know why, so we said we had just decided to move on. When we left I wrote a note to the owner in case he was not around, eventually after knocking at his door without any reply, I called out and found the owner. I gave him the note containing the 30 euros for five nights for the dog, (as we were unsure whether that cost had been included as when he arrived he told us that he didn't deal with your company,) and explained that we had thoroughly cleaned the gite. He then told me that I must accompany him as he judged me to be not honest and wanted to see what I had taken from the gite. I was appalled and extremely upset.

Bonjour, notre propriété se trouve à moins de 2 km de la nationale Rennes Saint Malo, en cas de difficulté les clients peuvent nous contacter pour les aider, bien que cela arrive rarement. Lorsque nous avons accueilli nos hotes, après la visite je me suis aperçu qu'ils avaient un chien qu'ils n'avaient pas précisé dans le contrat, je leur ai donc demander de prévoir le règlement prévu et ils ont refusé prétendant que cela n'était pas prévu sur le site vrbo en me menaçant de poursuite car son mari était avocat. le lendemain après avoir consulté le site vrbo j'ai pu constater avec eux que tout était clairement précisé en ce qui concerne la réservation pour le chien, il ont tenté une négociation, et le lendemain j'ai contacter vrbo qui leur a transmis une facture. Ensuite il m'ont averti de leur départ prématuré sans me donner d'explication , je leur ai précisé que j'étais présent à l'heure convenue (habitant sur place). A l'heure du départ la voiture de nos hotes était en marche le monsieur au volant et je leur ai demandé de faire l'état des lieux, mais ils ont refusés et la dame ma donné une enveloppe. Ils étaient partis avant que je n'ai pu voir le contenu de l'enveloppe, et je n'ai pas pu faire l'état des lieux en leur présence. Cela fait plus de 10 ans que nous louons notre gite et nous avons toujours eu de bonnes relations avec tous nos clients, ce fut une expérience désagréable, et déconseille à tous de recevoir ces clients.

schönes Haus, sehr ruhig gelegen, sehr nette Gastgeber

sehr gemütliches, sehr sauberes Haus mit kleinem Garten. Alles, was man braucht ist da. Das Haus lieg absolut ruhig, in der Nähe gibt es viel Wald. Einen carefour und einen Bäcker gibt es in ca 3 km Entfernung. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nete und freundliche Leute

Gite très agréable et bien aménagé

Situé dans un hameau entouré de verdure le gîte était à proximité des commerces. L accueil par les propriétaires était de qualité. La documentation sur la région était très complète. Le gîte par lui-même était très confortable et la décoration de très bon goût.

Beau gîte, cosy, bien organisé, bien équipé, rien ne manque, petite cour fermée avec salon de jardin, l'environnement est calme, dépaysant. Les propriétaires sont très gentils, à notre disposition en cas de besoin, et tout aussi discrets à la fois. Ils acceptent tous animaux du plus petits aux plus grands. Message pour les maîtres de dogues allemands, allez y les yeux fermés.
