Located in Flancourt Crescy en Roumois, in Normandy in the Eure, in the heart of a pretty valley. The cottage is located in a 20-hectare property, 1 hour 30 minutes from Paris (A13), 30 minutes from Rouen, 45 minutes from Deauville and Honfleur and 20 minutes from the Bec Hellouin Abbey or that of Jumièges. 📍

We offer charming, completely independent seasonal rentals that welcome you all year round, for a weekend or more.

I am available to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Whether for local recommendations, organizing a massage session directly in the cottage or booking a creative leisure course, I am at your disposal. You can easily reach me by message or phone. 💬

A beautiful setting

The cottage was beautiful set in the lovely surrounding of Forges Farm. A quiet and relaxing setting with stunning peacocks on site together with alpacas, ducks, geese and chickens. We stayed with our dog who was very welcome and there were plenty of walking routes from the site into the local forest, as well as others that could be found locally. Sonia was an amazing host, was very welcoming on our arrival and went above and beyond in helping us when are car broke down and had to be recovered to a garage and back to the uk.

Charming gite in wonderful setting

This is our first time holidaying in Normandy and it certainly won't be our last. The thatched roof gite was quaint, it was well maintained and had home comforts of dishwasher and washing machine. The outside space was great especially the thatched terrace outside area with the garden furniture. This area was well utilised at every meal time and the added bonus of hot weather was taken advantage of. Although other gites were nearby everyone had plenty of private space which was great advantage as we had 2 cocker spaniels with us and they wandered around without disturbing neighbours. The expansive grounds were well maintained and there was an adjoining wood which was ideal for dog walking The gite was well situated for day trips to Honfleur and Arromanche but too far for Mont St Michel. I would certainly recommend this gite as it was everything you need to make a stay first rating.

Un beau gîte.....

Le gîte La chaumière est situé dans dans un très beau parc de 20 ha où la nature est au rendez-vous pour sa tranquillité malgré la proximité de plusieurs autres locations au sein de la propriété. La situation géographique est idéale pour découvrir la région Normande ( Audemer, Honfleur, Deauville, Trouville, Rouen). De nombreux sentiers pédestres au départ du gîte sont possibles, néanmoins pour cette catégorie de bien à louer, nous avons qq remarques concernant les équipements de la maison ( 2 sets de table uniquement pour 3 personnes, planche à découper, sous de plat et pinces pour barbecue absentes , cafetière-dinette trop petite). D'autre part, l'accueil nous à montré que le gîte n'avait pas été ouvert/aéré depuis 3 mois, ainsi le ménage laissait entrevoir plusieurs toiles d'araignée et le salon de jardin à nettoyer en arrivant ainsi qu'un manque de chauffage). Le point négatif fut notre surprise le premier matin de n'avoir pas d'eau chaude pour prendre sa douche (faute d'avoir enclenché le fusible du cumulus de la part du propriétaire). Enfin, un petit produit d'accueil aurait été à la hauteur du prix de la prestation comme il se fait.

Très agréable ! à recommander

Une ravissante petite chaumière au sein d'un domaine calme, beau et fidèle à la description. Nous avons apprécié le grand terrain, la table de pique-nique et le salon de jardin à disposition. Les poules et les alpagas ont ravi notre fille, et nous avons pu visiter beaucoup de sites qui sont à proximité raisonnable. Seul bémol, le lit enfant est dans un recoin du palier et pas dans une vraie chambre, mais pour une semaine pas de souci. Parfait pour deux personnes je pense. Merci à Sonia pour son accueil ! Nous conseillons vivement le domaine de la Ferme de Fourges autour de nous.

Logeren op een prachtig landgoed!

Rust, ruimte en volop genieten van de natuur. Als uitvalsbasis naar de kust van Normandie is het goed te doen, binnen 1 a 2 uur is alles goed aan te rijden.

leuk vakantie huisje met alles aanwezig wat het verblijf aangenaam maakt, zoals een wasmachine en vaatwasser, oven en magnatron. Helaas is het kookplaatje op inductie maar met twee bronnen uitgerust. prima buiten eten met genoeg afstand tot de andere gasten wat prettig is voor wat privacy. verder is het boven wat minder met de trap voor een klein kind, daar er geen val beveilliggings/hekje is. de locatie is met 20 hectare wel schitterend met diverse huisjes. de inrit naar het perseel is geweldig. de gast kan met afstands bediening de verlichting op de oprij laan aan en uit zetten, evenals de poort bedienen. eigenaresse is vriendelijk en behulpzaam ze heeft een eigen klus studio op het terrein met wifi modem.... maar na 30 meter geen signaal meer. dus geen wifi in ons huisje met het mooie rieten dak...da,s wel weer jammer omdat ik de tablet mee had om wat op internet te doen op ons zitje. (ik kon wel dit doen bij haar hobby huisje) kreeg er zelfs thee bij. wij hadden wel moeite om de locatie te vinden met ons tom-tom apperaat. vraag bij de boeking de GPS data. er zijn een huisje met kippen,ganzen en kalkoen!!! als je eten over hebt kun je dit aan de kippen geven en als beloning mag je wat eieren hebben. (leuk) er lopen op een andere afrastering met huisje zelfs twee witte lama,s . handdoeken zijn aanwezig.... Maar.. hebben hier wel de hele week mee moeten doen, ze werden niet vervangen.. jammer.. maar wij hebben ook geen nieuwe gevraagd. bakker,slager,intermáchee, restaurant,tankstation op kwartier rijden met de auto aanwezig. in het huisje heel veel informatie over restaurants en vertier in de omgeving. mooie wandel routes (zeer aan te bevelen) met goede wegwijzers. tot slot !! een echte aanrader wat onze ervaring was. schoon??? in frankrijk heb je veel vliegen en spinnen die graag ook in je huisje willen verblijven... maar met de aanwezige stofzuiger !!! probleem weg. leuk zitje voor de avond waar je relaxt in zit met zelfs je eigen parasol, voor de aparte grote tafel buiten. klein minpuntje is dat er géén buitenlandse zenders op de tv zijn. (alleen maar franse zenders) lastig als de taal niet spreekt.

Séjour FORMIDABLE !

Nous sommes de retour du Gite la Chaumière "la ferme de Forges" qui était hélas TROP COURT ! Que du Bonheur, la gentillesse de RémY et Sonia, le Calme, le Cadre reposant, les diverses balades et visites (Pont Audemer, Honfleur...), le plaisir de visiter une petite Ferme pour participer à la Traite des Chèvres et l'achat de Fromage un régal !!! Vraiment un séjour inoubliable et bien entendu à renouveler !!!!

Les propriétaires Sonia et Rémy nous ont accueilli chaleureusement. Nous avons logé la premiére semaine dans La Chaumière et ensuite dans l'Ecurie, anciens bâtiments complètement restaurés en gardant le beau style normand à l'extérieur qui abrite un bel intérieur moderne pour se sentir dès son arrivée comme chez soi. Formidable !!!

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable ! Ce lieux est magnifique et les propriétaires très charmant ! Nous sommes restés que 2 nuits dans la Chaumière et nous avons déjà envie de revenir ! Le mixte entre l'ancien et la décoration moderne est de très bon goût, les photos reflètent la réalité. Le site était complet pour ce weekend de pâques mais le calme était la, les maisons sont parfaitement disposées pour être chacun chez soi. Nous allons vite revenir et cette fois pour 1 semaine. Charming cottage in the countryside

We had a marvelously relaxing vacation at Ferme de Fourges. The cottage was extremely well-maintained and clean, with a comfy bed. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals. The owner was very attentive and responsive, welcoming with us with a bottle of delicious homemade cider. We were even able to collect some freshly laid eggs from the farm's chickens and ducks during our visit. The local village (Bourg-Achard) had everything we needed, with two supermarkets, two boulangeries, a butcher, a produce market, and more. The owner had made a detailed guidebook highlighting the region's points of interest that was invaluable in our explorations of the region. The only downside was that the wi-fi was too weak to be used inside the house.

Chaumière magnifique

Superbe chaumière conservant le style ancien à l'extérieur, avec tout le confort moderne en intérieur mais qui ne dénature pas cette demeure. Site verdoyant avec les canards, les poules.... Ce week end a été super pour se reposer et pourvoir admirer cette nature. Lieu très calme. Logement très propre. Accueil très familial. J'ai hâte d'y retourner. Merci aux propriétaires pour cet accueil dans ce lieu magique....;

Nous avons connu la ferme de Fourge grâce au blog " Stampin up" de Sonia. Je suivais pas à pas l'évolution des travaux de la ferme sans savoir qu'un jour avec mon chéri et notre bébé nous irions passer un agréable, reposant week end. Sur un coup de tête, la veille de mon anniversaire, j'appelle Sonia, la propriétaire, pour une réservation. Elle nous fait la joie de nous accueillir dans ce corps de ferme de 20 hectares le lendemain. Les photos parlent d'elles-mêmes. Un gîte trés bien agencé, trés bien entretenu et un accueil convivial. Notre bébé a été heureux de faire ses premiers pas dans l'herbe, de voir des petits poussins nés quelques jours auparavant, de faire du toboggan. Je remercie Sonia d'avoir partagé avec elle une agréable aprés-midi à scrapper. Nous reviendrons dans cet agréable endroit, et surement avec notre famille ou des amis pour partager des moments. Nous avons séjourné a la chaumière fin juillet et nous avons beaucoup apprécié. La propriété est magnifique et très bien entretenue. La chaumière nous a séduit par son authenticité, son caractère et la modernité avec laquelle elle a été amménagée. Vacances à la Ferme de Fourges (La chaumière)

Si vous recherchez le calme, la nature et que vous aimés les vieilles batisses, ne cherchez plus, allez à La Ferme de Fourges dans l'Eure (27) sur un terrain de 20 hectares. Acceuillis chaleureusement par les propriétaires Nous avions loué "La Chaumière" maison normande au toit de chaume, logement très propre, ayant toutes les commodités de son chez soi. Linge de maison fourni par les propritaires, lave vaisselle, lave linge, four, micro onde,etc... Visites : Rouen à 30km, Honfleur à 45 km, Trouville,Deauville. Le Moulin de Hauteville à 10 km etc... Nous vous recommandons vivement ce lieu de Vacances Merci encore pour ce séjour agréable et nous reviendons à la Ferme de Fourges. Christophe & Isabelle
