Dirty, parking issues, rules on dogs not disclosed prior to arrival.
Property said pet friendly but when you got there said no dogs upstairs, not good when you have a dog with separation anxiety. Didn't find out until che k in details came through that there was no parking on the street the house is on. House was dirty. Tried to use hoover, it was totally blocked and not usable, had a broom but no dustpan so couldn't even do any cleaning of floors while there.
The cottage is great for a small family in a great location, perfectly located in the shops valley area. Easy access to Castleton and great walks from the front door. Bradwell has good pubs that are dog friendly, a coop food store and a good chippy, all in great value for money

Loved this cottage.
Loved this cottage. Very cosy and comfortable. Kitchen was great and everything we needed. Lovely location for exploring the Peaks. Some nice pubs and a very handy Co-op. Beds very comfortable. Stairs very steep, just to be aware. Overall though a great place to get away from things too (no mobile signal for me and just freeview telly - bliss!).

Warm and comfortable cottage located in picturesque village. We enjoyed our short stay, with only real drawback being the need to park short distance from cottage.

Loved our short break to Millstone Cottage.
Loved our short break to Millstone Cottage.
Was lovely and clean when we arrived, lots and lots of kitchen equipment (more than we have ever experienced in a lodge or cottage before by far), bed comfy, lovely fire on for us on arrival.
Located about 300-400 yards from a lovely, friedly little village pub.
Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway, we will definitely be back to Millstone again soon.
Thanks.

A nice cottage situated in a quiet part of the village.
A nice cottage situated in a quiet part of the village. Fully equipped with everything you need. The only downside is there’s no nearby parking and the steep hill from the village centre. But, then, what else would you expect in a typical Peak District village?

lovely location , well equipped, only down side the small patio out the front was not dog friendly, no room for them walk around . Car parking can be an issue but we started to part just out side the village so no real issue except when unloading and re packing the car . The hills are not for the faint hearted

Millstone Cottage is the perfect location for a little break. The cottage was spotlessly clean and we had a lovely gift on arrival. The location is idyllic and the locals are very friendly. I would definitely visit again.

Had an amazing time in this beautiful cottage.
Had an amazing time in this beautiful cottage. Every time I thought of something I needed it was there in a drawer or a cupboard literally everything from a pencil sharpener to monopoly.
It was clean very warm and comfortable. A decent sized front and back outside seating area both of which are enclosed. We were lucky enough to see snow while we were here...it just made the cottage even cosier with the gas log burner turned up.
