Beautiful cottage in peaceful surroundings
Beautiful cottage in peaceful surroundings, very clean and well equipped, home from home. Situated a short drive away to all attractions in Somerset, Bath, Bristol, Wells, Cheddar Gorge, lovely walks around local area too. Morag and Phil very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, would highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay and the Somerset sights in easy reach.

A well thought out and planned property.
A well thought out and planned property. There was everything you needed. A Tesco Express in Peasedown St John, a couple of miles away which had everything we needed plus a fish and chip shop, which was very good - used them twice. There was a larger Sainsburys on the outskirts of Bath. We always came back through Peasedown St John from our day out so calling in at the Tesco was not a problem, we didn't feel we had to go out of our way. The Stable was a lovely place to come back to as a base. A lovely grassed area to look out onto with a nice seating area which caught the evening sun. Because of the time of year we didn't take advantage of it as it was a bit chilly by the time we got back but I can imagine sitting there on a summers evening with a glass of wine would be most pleasant. The owners were very helpful, there if needed, but discreet. I would certainly use the Stable again if I am back in the area Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Fabulous.
Fabulous. One of the best and loveliest places we've stayed in. The cottage is comfortable, well equipped and the location is superb: quiet and peaceful but not remote and it's within easy reach of places like Bath, Bradford on Avon and Wells, so a great base for sightseeing. Lovely to come 'home' to in the evening, especially the garden terrace, full of pretty planting - the perfect spot to finish the day with a glass of wine. There are also some easy countryside walks around the village. We highly recommend. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
