Lovely, comfortable and well equipped home.

Lovely, comfortable and well equipped home. Within walking distance of Anstruther town and the harbour. Garden was a bonus, especially as we had such lovely weather. Thicker curtains in the bedrooms would be useful, but otherwise no complaints. 4½/5 from us.

After a long journey from the English Midlands to Anstruther we were delighted to open the door to this warm and comfortable house. It was very clean and welcoming and in a quiet spot with plenty of parking space. The accommodation proved to be a good base to attend a wedding at a nearby barn venue - that being the main purpose of our visit. After the wedding we spent the week in Anstruther walking the coastal path in both directions using the local bus service, visiting Dundee for the Discovery exhibition and exploring St. Andrews. Anstruther itself has a variety of places to eat and a very interesting Fisheries Museum. 22 The Marches always provided a comfy base to return to, not least because there was always plenty of hot water to wash away the exertions of the day! We had lovely weather and returned home with many good memories of our holiday.

Home from home

A very cosy cottage with plenty of space and very well utilized. Nice little garden. We were very lucky with the weather so we could explore the East coast villages. Tentsmuir Beach is a must. Cath gave us fresh towels and clean bed linnen after our first week. Hope te be back again next year. Deirdre and Fred. The Netherlands

A compact property, clean and well equipped.

A compact property, clean and well equipped. We just stayed for 3 nights so you would get better value for money if staying a full week. Owners helpfully provided a travel cot and high chair. We managed to get the cot in one of the double rooms (just) but grateful we weren't then using the bed as it made accessing it difficult. There was also a brief moment of panic when I thought there wasn't a washing machine but found it in the garage! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We enjoyed our stay very much, the house and its facilities we everything we needed. The only thing we would ask for would be a shampoo/soap holder in the shower, a minor detail, but important when you are not as agile as we once were. Thank you

Lovely holiday home with all you could wish for.

Lovely holiday home with all you could wish for. Really warm house with no petty restrictions which personally we hate. The added parking and garage were a real bonus. We will not book any holiday accommodation that allows pets as we've had some bad experiences in the past and this really sold the property to us. The location is handy and there is a little shop and a fantastic bakery a few minutes walk away too.
