Wonderful cosy cottage

Warm cosy cottage. Very clean and well equipped. Great location for exploring Shropshire. A short walk from the cottage is a lovely welcoming pub, small co-op shop and garage and a very good fish/chip/kebab shop. Would highly recommend if you want a peaceful break near the Shropshire hills.

Very cosy and comfortable cottage in an area of outstanding beauty.

Very cosy and comfortable cottage in an area of outstanding beauty. The cottage is warm, comfortable and well appointed. Generous offering of towels and plenty of hot water. Very efficient heating which was most welcome as we had 3 days of snow and freezing weather (which added to the pleasure of discovering the Shropshire Hills). The kitchen is well equipped and there were lots of thoughtful and welcome touches throughout the cottage making our stay a real pleasure.

The cottage was lovely, comfortable and well equipped.

The cottage was lovely, comfortable and well equipped. The owners were very helpful and the welcome pack was really appreciated. As for location, it was quiet and peaceful, except for the roofers working next door.

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped and a nice welcome pack was provided. Hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes were also provided. There is a pleasant outdoor area with seating. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There is a Coop only five minutes walk away, and other supermarkets can be found in Shrewsbury. The cottage is handy for Ironbridge and the nearby museums, several other historic sites, and there are lovely walks from the cottage. Highly recommended. Three of us had a great week here.

Three of us had a great week here. There was a slight problem and the owners very quickly sorted it out, thank you very much. Cottage is well equipped and comfortable. We managed with parking 3 cars as we were 3 friends meeting up from Lancashire, Staffordshire and Powys but it wasn’t easy; however, 2 is the quoted parking. Great centre for Ironbridge (we went twice), Shrewsbury and walking on the Long Mynd or similar areas nearby. Great week

A very comfortable cottage, well equipped and clean.

A very comfortable cottage, well equipped and clean. A welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar and milk along with biscuits and eggs was appreciated. A pleasant seating area in the back garden too. Good location for exploring Shropshire, especially the town of Shrewsbury, several National Trust properties and the Ironbridge museums. Shrewsbury is a good shopping centre and there is a selection of shops and a supermarket by the Meole Brook park and ride. Minsterley itself has a good Coop beside the petrol station. The Nags Head in Pontesbury is excellent for food. A lovely cottage to return to after a day exploring. We would definitely return.

Lovely place to stay, pretty cottage and garden.

Lovely place to stay, pretty cottage and garden. Having 3 bedrooms is a major advantage for the kids to sleep better. Well equipped kitchen, cosy lounge and good selection of films to watch if it rains. Surrounding area has plenty to do, the woolly mammoth at Shropshire Discovery Centre is a must.
