This was our third holiday at the loft.
This was our third holiday at the loft. It is a real gem, comfortable, well equipped and very clean. The location couldn’t be better in the centre of the lovely Warkworth Village. Wonderful Beach a short drive or walk from the Croft. Lovely pubs literally on the doorstep and regular buses to explore other coastal Towns and inland areas of interest. A great base for enjoying the wonderful Northumberland coast!

Lovely place to stay, very clean, compact and cosy with everything needed for a few days away from home. The only point I would make is that it would have been helpful to have been advised upfront that the hairdryer had been removed as a non-essential as I didn’t bring one, expecting there to be one there so I struggled with washing my hair.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Loft.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Loft. Myself, my wife and our two lads (5 and 8) found the location perfect. The apartment is the perfect size - not too big, not too small and it had everything we needed for our stay. We know Warkworth very well so being off the busy main road was great but still just a very short walk to the pubs, cafes, etc. The little street is not used by cars on the whole so really safe - we let our young lads walk themselves down to the river a few times. Parking was tricky if arriving back during the day but plenty of spaces opened up from about 4pm, down by the river.
Everywhere was very clean on arrival and all precautions for covid-19 seemed to have been well handled. The beds were comfy and the living space is a really lovely place to hang out in the morning. Would highly recommend The Loft to couples and small families to stay in when visiting the amazing Northumberland coast. Thank you!

Great location for this flat.
Great location for this flat. Very comfortable except the 2 arm chairs could do with more comfort. Other than that no problems. Felt very safe there. Managed to park ok near the river. Would definitely come again

Excellent apartment, well fitted out with clean modern fittings.
Excellent apartment, well fitted out with clean modern fittings. Beds comfortable , very quiet at night which was great. Parking is not on the property so you don't know where you will be able to leave the car but we didn't have a problem finding a spot. It was a little awkward in the shower as its not that large & there is nowhere to put the shampoo/ soap, & i couldn't follow the instructions for the tv & DVD player - managed eventually but not straightforward. - but these are minor gripes, the accommodation was brilliant & we would definitely like to come again.
By the way, the whole area is superb - clean long beaches , nice towns & lots of castles. Local pubs are great to.

Excellent place and they allowed me to check out late as it was my 70th birthday.
Excellent place and they allowed me to check out late as it was my 70th birthday. Unfortunately the TV would not link up to show DVDs which my 13 year old granddaughter had brought to watch but as the weather was excellent we were not inside much so not too much of a problem. Thank you.

Excellent location and a lovely comfortable flat.
Excellent location and a lovely comfortable flat. We were particularly grateful for the collection of maps and leaflets that helped us to plan our days. The flat was spacious and airy and we cooked there 3 of the evenings. There are also at least 4 local places to eat and we can particularly recommend The Old Post Office and The Castle Brew House (the beer at the latter was excellent) We did the whole week using public transport (there is a bus stop just outside the Masons Arms 1 minute from the flat) and visits included Alnwick, Alnmouth, Amble (Puffin Cruises to Coquet Island a must !), Newcastle/Gateshead and Craster. A superb week !

The Loft is good, this is the second time we have stayed there.
However the heating needs to come on earlier, we are early risers and had a very chilly couple of hours each day.
The new suite is not very comfortable!
They were what stopped me giving the highest ratings.

This is our third time at the loft 2011-2015-2019 and on every occasion it has been an excellent stay. The owners have done a great job and have anticipated the needs of all who stay there; perfect. We wanted for nothing and the standards are as high now as they were 8 and 4 years ago. If I am around to come to Warkworth in the future there is only one place I would want to stay.

Hidden Gem
Warm worth is an enchanting village in the North East of England.
The Loft is a comfortable, accessible property that makes a good 'bolt hole' for visiting this area. Winding roads, relaxed and friendly people, breathtaking coastal views, drive and castles this part of the NE is definitely a hidden gem.
Good food, hospitality in restaurants, cafes and pubs....
Great area for cycling as easy access to cycling route 1.
All in all, fantastic break in this area.
Would definitely recommend this property and area to family and friends.
The Loft was well presented and reasonably equipped. As the weather was kind to us during our stay we had every day either full or part on the beach. The only missing amenity was a washing machine, as no local provisions available for laundry and this would have been helpful with visits to the beautiful beach areas, especially those that are designated areas of outstanding beauty.
