In the distance the dramatic peak of Addleborough can be seen and Lake Semerwater is a pleasant walk away. The hamlet of Marsett is set high in the hills above Bainbridge, providing far reaching panoramic views of the dales and fells beyond. Marsett itself has true rustic country charm as cattle and sheep can roam freely on the village green. Horse riding and fishing nearby. Shop, pub and restaurant 3½ miles.

Very peaceful and quiet location, great for a get away from it all holiday.
Very peaceful and quiet location, great for a get away from it all holiday. Alyson & Guy very welcoming and sociable. Camping field also close by but out of sight from cottage. Didn't know campers were there, very quiet camp site. Cosy little cottage, nice with log burner that was easy to use, first lot of fuel supplied and plenty there. There's no shortage of things to see and do in the area particularly if you like the great outdoors. Proper farm working country here with lots of livestock seen regularly crossing the roads with farmers. Check out Ribblehead Viaduct, Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen y Ghent further afield. Waterfalls, castles and beautiful scenery all around. Take a ride a short way into Hawes if you like it a little livelier, then come back to relax at the quiet cottage. We had an enjoyable time here.
