Excellent 3 night stay in the chapel, we really enjoyed it.
Excellent 3 night stay in the chapel, we really enjoyed it. Only thing we didnt like was at night it was completely pitch black outside when coming back from being out. But waking up in a morning to sheep and turkeys was lovely. Nice walks, gorgeous breakfast and lovely staff in the cafe down road, also tenants arms pub on front the food was very nice. Bus ride or 10 mins drive in car to grassington which i definitely recommend going to. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants.
communication poor, tv very poor, hob very difficult, steps quite difficult.we are late 70s.beautiful place, but had to find a neighbour with details for key.got wet through searching.husband became ill and had to return home after only two nights
Property was lovely but we were trapped in for 3 days as we had snow that turned into ice and the hill up and down to the Property was farr too dangerous with ice to go any where , and the 3 steps up to the cottage were so icy abd dangerous it would of been good to know before that this can happen and some grit or salt left outside Property or somewhere in kilnsey but none how we didnt slip i have no idea , so please beware and keep safe just wish we had known as missed out on seeing so many places and we did pay more than enough to stay so please let people know thankyou .

The cottage was great, however, i would have preferred living room area to be separate from the bedroom. Very quiet and peaceful and lovely to open my eyes in the morning and watch dawn emerging from the top of the hills. Our only living neighbours seemed to be the the Grouse in the field attached to the cottage.

Loved the place, it's history and setting.
Loved the place, it's history and setting. Good features, comfy bed, just enough space in the bedroom for 2 to do yoga. Induction hob, though frying pan didn't seem to work. The Only sound at night was owls!

Fantastic location of property with hillside views.
Fantastic location of property with hillside views. Cottage was lovely and quaint with character features and beautiful enclosed garden, perfect for dogs. The main surfaces in the cottage were clean (bathrooms, kitchen worktops, etc), however, cleanliness lacked in other areas. We had to have a good vacuum around upon arrival. Also disappointing that due to the size of the hot water tank we were unable to have a full bath of hot water. Would be helpful to have some sort of barrier on the stairs to stop dogs going upstairs.

We spent Friday to Monday in the Chapel, the purpose of the visit was to have a relaxing break along. I can say this was achieved. The Chapel is a small, quaint place in a very quiet location but within walking distance to the village pub and local trout farm with cafe and driving distance to Grassington.
The surrounding hills were ideal for us to go walking with our dog. The Chapel is well equipped and very cosy.
Would recommend.
