We had such a good time in the Coach House. Our hosts, living next door, made us feel very welcome.

The best holiday rental we have ever stayed in.
The best holiday rental we have ever stayed in. It was immaculate, beautifully decorated and furnished. Well equipped, comfortable, spacious and in a delightful location. The attention to detail was superb. The most generous number of towels I have seen in any holiday let. I only wish we had been able to stay for longer.

Roomy, warm (air conditioning for summer), traditionally furnished with art works, 2 separate living rooms, well equipped kitchen with an AGA! There are all manner of books and plenty of local informationThe village has some interesting buildings and a village guide is a good start. Eyebrooke bird feeds has recently started selling a small range of food and we catered 2 evening meals as well as bird food for our home feeders. Very friendly owners and a very high quality dining pub a short walk away. Local ales and plenty of wine choices. The pub also has various eating offers outside of peak days. Good local walks including Eyebrooke reservoir and plenty to see in short driving times. Overall a great place for a week's break.
The house was fantastic. We have rented many houses over the years, but this one was really great. Nice owners. Beautiful location. Superb environment. It was like living in an episode of Downtown Abby and Bridgerton!
Everything you needed was present in the cottage.
Lovely warm welcome when we arrived and a quick tour around the spacious property. Set in a quiet quaint village with a popular pub/restaurant.
The property was warm and comfortable with plenty of room. Nice welcome pack thank you.Lots of information leaflets to choose something to do in the area.
Plenty of walks on the doorstep. The area and house are stunning. Would definitely recommend

This little house was pretty, very warm and well-equipped for our stay. Our host kindly left us eggs and milk to welcome us. The property is in a ideal location for total peace and quiet or for use as a base to explore surrounding villages. Greater Easton has a trendy pub and a village store for convenience. In a wet, muddy December/ January the Coach House was a lovely spot to spend a few days. It would be really wonderful to do the same in warmer weather when some of the local walks could be taken with pleasure.

A pleasant place to stay, a bit like staying in a stately home, the owners are very helpful but not obtrusive, there is a local shop and a pub which unfortunately is closed for renovation and due to re open in December, the village is an ideal base for touring Rutland, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.

Lovely house, high quality décor and good standard of equipment in the kitchen.
Lovely house, high quality décor and good standard of equipment in the kitchen. Particularly appreciated the range of DVDs, CDs, books and board games available and the amount of cupboard and worktop space in both the kitchen and bathroom (so many cottages expect you to balance a weeks worth of toiletries for a couple or family in a space no bigger than the top of the toilet cistern or (worse) on the floor - no such problems here).
Very comfortable bed and lots of room in the rooms.
Lovely garden and patio area - which in the high summer we would probably have taken advantage of.
It is fairly central for a number of local attractions and also for venturing further afield. Such a pity that the pub in the village has now closed down. The pubs in the surrounding villages just a bit too far to walk to. But some very nice walks round and about.
The house is beautifully decorated, very well equipped and incredibly comfortable. Lovely gardens in a beautiful location. My family and I really enjoyed cycling around Rutland Waters, the beautiful villages and many other attractions nearby. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We are already planning to go back again. I couldn't recommend more!

This is a lovely holiday cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location and with very welcoming owners.
This is a lovely holiday cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location and with very welcoming owners. We arrived 7pm on a Saturday evening, and the 'meet and greet' was great!
There are numerous things we really liked.
The cottage is very spacious and very peaceful - you can even hear the resident squirrels going about their work!
We both loved the antique 'vibe' and the kitchen was fantastic with a gas Aga and masses of space.
The location is lovely with a small local shop (the pub was closed) and plenty of walks nearby.
The price was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay, which included a mixture of work and pleasure.
Lots of loo rolls, lovely large beds that were comfy - fantastic.
The bathroom is fully equipped, and the water was piping hot so this was fab, too.
If I'm being honest, there were a few things that didn't quite meet our expectations and although very minor things, they are easily sortable and therefore can be rectified with very little effort.
There were a couple of light bulbs that didn't work in the lounge area.
The sink in the kitchen was dirty - something had been used in the sink prior to our arrival and then not wiped/cleaned afterwards.
There is a large net curtain on the back door for privacy purposes, which had a large brown stain on it, which I am sad to say I noticed straight away. This is me being very pedantic but it didn't look great, to be honest.
The last thing we noticed was although eggs, tea and coffee were kindly provided, there was tiny quantity of milk in a small jug. It was enough for us to make one hot drink, but how much does it cost to buy a pink of milk rather than offering a tiny amount that just frustrates the guest, particularly is you arrive late following a day at work?
Finally the wi-fi connection was poor. While certainly not the fault of the owners, as our visit was work-based for a good part of it, this was very frustrating.
My suggestion would be, if not already explained in the cottage description, it should say "wi-fi is available but subject to a varied connection."
Realise some folks don't want wi-fi, but then again, it's something that today is almost expected, like it or not.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and the owners left us to our own devices, which I always appreciate. We would stay again if we were in the area.

A wonderful stay!
This was a splendid surprise of a summer house! We have rented houses around Europe, but never been this delightedly surprised with the house being at least double size of what we anticipated and the charm of it...; all we have to say is wow!!
There is hardly any net both mobile and Internet, but to us it made it all more relaxing and charming, the kids found the house's boardgames and started playing at once! Not seen that in a while.
The owners, Virginia and Richard, were so friendly and welcoming. If anything we could just pop over and they would fix whatever. We will be back for sure!
