Instow cottage
Really liked the cottage. All clean and well presented. Very good welcome pack which we appreciated. We missed the no towels provided part, but Lucy came to the rescue. Very comfortable beds and beautiful linen, always a treat! Would suggest an update on the bathroom but the rest was as described. So close to the beach and handy for restaurants and pubs. Would definitely recommend.

Quiet getaway
Lovely quiet place to stay, just around the corner from the sandy beach. Lots of space in this beautiful light and comfy cottage. Flowers, wine and a few bits made us feel very welcome. Plenty of places to walk on the doorstep. Would definitely return.

We loved Midships.
We loved Midships. A really comfortable stay, located 2 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants - literally across the road from the local pub. We had everything we needed - comfortable sofas, wifi and Sky TV. The cottage is cosy and warm. Parking was unrestricted at the time we visited and always spaces available. Others mentioned issues with the cottage bathroom. There is no shower curtain and you have to hold the shower head. There is plentiful hot water though, and good pressure. The bath is huge and luxurious! Our only suggestion would be to replace the feather pillows. The huge beds were really comfortable and each room had plenty storage space. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to vising again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Midships is a characterful cottage with everything I required for a late season stay in this testing
Midships is a characterful cottage with everything I required for a late season stay in this testing time of global pandemic. Overall it felt a little 'tired' and would probably benefit from a freshen up. That said it did not deter from my enjoyment. I have stayed in Instow 6 times and this cottage although not the best I've stayed in, was perfectably acceptable. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Perfect base for exploring North Devon.
A lovely week in Midships. Just a couple of negatives. Although property was very clean it smelled really damp and the walls in the dining area felt wet. There was no shower curtain and armchairs had seen better days. Overall a lovely location although parking very limited. The beds were very comfortable and property very spacious.
