Bedroom 4: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds, Freeview TV. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Small rooftop patio with picnic table. 1 small dog welcome. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: Couples and family bookings only. There are 12 steps to the patio.. This superb first and second floor maisonette, situated in a traditional Edwardian property, is close to the centre of the unspoilt seaside town of Filey, yet tucked away in a delightful, quiet back street which leads straight down to the sea front. There is parking for one car, and additional free roadside parking. Restaurants, shops and the beach are all just a short stroll away, which makes this lovely property the perfect place to stay for a traditional seaside holiday, both for the active and for those seeking a peaceful retreat. Filey has a 5 mile stretch of award-winning golden sands, ideal for families, and the donkey rides are always a big hit with the children. The beautiful long promenade and the award-winning gardens are the perfect place to walk, or just to sit and admire the outstanding views. To the north of the bay is the start (or end) of the 110 mile Cleveland Way and The Brigg, which is the perfect place for rock pooling and for those who enjoy fishing. To the south, are the magnificent Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs, a RSPB nature reserve which is perfect for watching and photographing a wide range of sea life, including puffin. For the golfer, there is Filey Golf Club just over ½ mile away, said to be one of the finest courses in Yorkshire. For those who surf, Reighton Sands, Hunmanby Gap and Cayton Bay can provide good waves, whilst Scarborough Surf School caters for those want to give it a try. With a wide range of places to visit, including Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington, together with the Yorkshire Moors National Park, there is no shortage of activities for all the family. The historic city of York is only 42 miles away and makes for a great day out. Beach 200 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Lovely Place

Had a lovely week with friends, fantastic location and fantastic property. I have stayed in Filey a number of times, first time here and will definitely be staying again. The property had everything we could want, to be honest this is the first time we have stayed somewhere and can’t think of something that was missing to make it better and the welcome package was a very nice touch with the owners a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend this property.

Top Notch in every way..

The property is centrally situated with easy access to beach gardens and Filey itself.The accommodation is very tastefully appointed..with quality fittings and everything you may need in the kitchen bathrooms and living spaces.Bedding is beautifully presented..wall decorations tone in to the scheme.A bit of a wow factor! Despite this attention to detail the property is very comfortable and welcoming.Protocols relating to eco etc clear and precise.Wifi strong..TVs new and all working well.We immediately felt at home as did our multi generational family.Plenty of space to get away from each other as well!We are very appreciative too of Phil's input and thank him and Chris for making our experience a personalised and happy one.We will certainly be back and can recommend these hosts and the accommodation unconditionally to everyone.Thank you.

The property is in an excellent central location in Filey, handy for everything. It is well equipped and was very clean and tidy on our arrival Communication with the owner Phil was great and he provided his contact number should we have any issues. There was also a lovely Welcome Pack there for us too, so no need to immediately rush off to the shops when we got there. We will certainly consider this property again the next time we visit Filey. Perfect home from home

A short 3night stay in this lovely property to celebrate a 70th birthday really gave us a taste for more. A wonderful spacious property that's I equipped for every situation and need. A lovely basket on the table when we arrived till of necessities were really appreciated. Clean towels for all and lovely really comfy beds. The location is perfect closr to the centre and a stones throw from the sea front. A lovely weekend enjoyed by all. We will be back thank you

This is a very comfortable house with plenty of room to spread out.

This is a very comfortable house with plenty of room to spread out. It is well located, just a short walk from the shops and seafront ( there is even a partial side view of the sea from the big bay window in the sitting room). The patio to the rear is well sheltered allowing us to sit outside even when it was very blustery by the sea. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house and in Filey.
