Lovely Location for both walking on the Coastal Path to Seaton and Looe, and good for exploring othe

Lovely Location for both walking on the Coastal Path to Seaton and Looe, and good for exploring other places such Polpero and Magivessy. The Cottage itself was cosy and all we needed , with nice views behind the cottage. The owners were friendly and helpful also. Ps. We had a fantastic holiday at the Byre.

We had a fantastic holiday at the Byre. It is in an ideal location for walking on the coast path. Looe is only a few miles away, within walking distance. The cottage has everything that you need and we had a warm welcome from the owners. We would definitely return for another holiday.

Lovely quiet cottage.

Lovely quiet cottage. Need nerves of steel to negotiate lanes leading to cottage but after repeated trips you drive like a local! Steep walk to nearest beach but lovely when you get there, just need to ensure you have something to hand on your return up the hill to revive you. Seaton is a lovely beach to take your dog for a walk and have suitable refreshments whilst looking out to sea. Wouldn't bother with Polperro as it clearly dos not welcome tourists, overcharging for car parking and toilets even stating residents subsidise them!

We had a phone call the night before we we due to go to say that we would find the keys in the door

We had a phone call the night before we we due to go to say that we would find the keys in the door when we arrived. It would have been nice to have met someone so that we could ask about how the heating worked if we had wanted it, and whether there were supposed to be towels supplied. We saw no-one the entire week, my husband went to the office at least three times to find it locked and no-one there. When we left again, there was no-one there to take the keys, and it would have been good to explain that I had used the hoover but it wasn't working as well as it maybe should, and to say that we had stripped the bed and was there anything else they would have liked us to have done.

An excellent cottage for 2 people - the kitchen equipment was sparse but manageable. The cottage was clean and the men in charge helpful and friendly.
