A really exceptional property in a lovely location.
A really exceptional property in a lovely location. The property itself is beautifully presented and just the right size for 2 people; it's also comprehensively and thoughtfully equipped. The location is very quite but convenient for a whole whole of attractions. The area is less well known than some but is really beautiful. We found plenty to do despite the constraints of semi-lockdown and mixed weather. We would highly recommend.

The Dovecote is a wonderful cottage.
The Dovecote is a wonderful cottage. It was exceptionally clean, well equipped and stylish. The photos do not do it justice at all. The location is idyllic and peaceful. Cannot say anything negative at all it was just a perfect stay away from the bizarre reality we are living in! Would go back in a flash.

An exceptional place to stay!
The Dovecote has been done out to such a high standard - it was simply beautiful. Every detail has been thought about and you want for nothing. The owners were on hand and incredibly helpful and the welcome hamper was a amazing and very tasty!
My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights there and wish it could have been longer. The area is beautiful with lots to go and explore and there are some lovely local pubs! But The Dovecote is also perfect if you want to get away from everything and have a romantic meal at home.
Couldn't recommend this place more highly!

Lovely Cottage extremely well equipped, more like a hotel ! Very good welcome box & fresh flowers on the Table .
Fabulous shower room ! One Negative is the lack of outside Drying the Washing or a washer dryer.
The only thing that’s stops it being a 10 is the Bathroom being down stairs .
Particularly for us in the Older generation ,as some of us have to get up in the night !!
Very quite & private location, we think it would be lovely sitting outside When it’s hot.
The most excellent food in the Village Pub , but again for us Oldies the 10 minute Walk was too steep so we drove , but well worth it .
Helen the Owner was very helpful.

A touch of luxury
Excellent property in a great rural location. It is superbly equipped, including an extensive welcome pack and fluffy bathrobes, top-of-the-range fittings and furniture throughout n a lovely style, a fantastic shower, a very comfortable and large bed. There was a storm when we stayed, and apart from the wind noise, it felt very quiet. When we had a power cut, the landlady brought many candles to see us through. A great find and we will be back to explore more of this great area!
