An absolutely wonderful cottage in fantastic grounds.
An absolutely wonderful cottage in fantastic grounds. A real country getaway. We enjoyed a lovely winter pre-Christmas break here and it was a great base from which to explore North Norfolk and the coast. The grounds of the estate in which the cottage sits are beautiful, with lots of walks without getting in the car. The cottage is so cosy and inviting that you don’t need to leave if you don’t want to. The cottage is full of old style charm but with all the modern fixtures and fittings you could possibly need. A lovely stay and will be back for sure. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Due to COVID amenities were not at there best .
Due to COVID amenities were not at there best . We were able to visit national trust properties. Closeness of Cromer was good and visited. Oak hall was wonderful, with the laughing ducks at night and the owls, being able to step out on to walks was great. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This cottage is in the most stunning location imaginable.
This cottage is in the most stunning location imaginable. Right behind the cottage is a medieval church set in woodland, in front the land runs down to a lake, and beyond the lake is a river. There is a knot-garden of beautifully clipped box and yew in front of the main house, and by the lake are water-gardens. The whole estate is maintained to perfection - no wonder it is a popular venue for weddings. The cottage is warm, comfortable and well-equipped. The bedrooms are very small, but that's a small disadvantage compared to the quietness and beauty of the setting. Be aware that there's actually no vehicular access to the cottage, so you have to carry your things about 100 yards from the car.
