The steadings is a beautiful property, very well equipped, lovely and clean.

The steadings is a beautiful property, very well equipped, lovely and clean. Location I was perfect for us. Away from the town a little but near enough for lots of sight seeing in beautiful Northumberland. Views from the garden lovely and we were fortunate enough to have a lovely clear night to get a good star and Milky Way show of the night sky.

Easter break

Lovely property had everything you could want and more. Easy check in instructions. Central for good days out, very close to Alnwick. Beds very comfortable. Only thing and it wasnt a problem but if you looked closely there was a lot of dust, radiators a bit rusty, hole in wall behind front door, could do with a spruce up. Would def go back

Room for improvement

Comfortable, spacious and clean. We were disappointed that there was no fuel for the stove, as the property description said there would be. Also a few dishwasher tablets would have been appreciated.

Considering this was a last minute booking, we landed on our feet.

Considering this was a last minute booking, we landed on our feet. However, although the cottage was clean and comfortable we do feel it needs a proper over bath shower in the main bathroom. Up to six people using the en suite shower is not ideal. A few little niggles include, idiosyncratic heating, broken kitchen floor tiles, the television is past it's best and the large living room windows which catch the sun are in desperate need of a clean. However having said all that we really enjoyed our stay at the Steadings, which is just a 5 min drive from beautiful Alnwick.
