Get that much-needed sleep with the privacy of your bedroom, along with ALL the comforts of home. 1st bedroom - Queen bed; 2nd bedroom - Bunk bed - (2) Double Beds; 3rd bedroom - Bunk Bed – Queen bed down & Single/Twin bed up then 2nd Single/Twin bed; Sofa Twin. Sleeps 11.

The kitchen has a full-size stove, refrigerator with w/freezer, and microwave. The kitchen is furnished down to the dishes, pots, and pans. Coffee makers, traditional & Keurig, pots and pans, silverware, and all the usual kitchen items are also present in the cabinets. If you find that you need something more in the kitchen, be sure to ask me, as I keep all kinds of ‘kitchen things’ available for guests' convenience. WIFI is always included. Smart TV's for your streaming pleasure.

Bedrooms are fully furnished with dressers and a full-size closet. The bathroom is spacious and private. The full-size gathering room is equipped with a couch, chair, dining table, and TV.

Clear out any food from the cabinets and refrigerator and throw it away in the garbage. Bag up your inside garbage and take it to the outside trash can(s) located at the street.
While tidying up, please don't throw away any dishes, silverware, or kitchen items. We have picked out these items with care to make your stay comfortable, so we'd appreciate it if they stayed home.

Good location for price when hotels were double

The house is a little old and could use some TLC. Doors are squeaky, bed is squeaky, dogs out back are loud and trains come through often. They could easily upgrade with nicer towels, more than 1 tide pod, etc. We would stay again due to location but be aware if you are picky.

It was adequate for what we needed. Sheila was responsive to our needs. The area around the property is not nice but the house itself is nice. It was quiet and clean and had all the amenities we needed for our weekend in Knoxville for a swim meet at UT. It was a great location for us... 5 minute drive to campus. It all depends on what you are needing. It’s not a vacation spot. But if you need a clean, quiet place to stay while doing business in Knoxville then it is fine.

Acceptable if you spend little time there

This is a functional property if all you do is sleep there and then leave. Not a lot of room to be inside, pretty much nothing outside. Kitchen utensils were somewhat haphazardly there, not great for cooking main meals. The driveway is also etremely steep with gravel at the top. It is very easy to bottom out the car and then a little hard to pull in, don't lose momentum at the top. Pros: --Check-in is easy --Parking is good --Departure instructions are quite simple --Outside is well lit at night --Netflix on TV, which was nice because kids couldn't play outside Cons: --The neighborhood is not comfortable, not good for walks or letting kids play --The easy-access lock did not include a deadbolt, which made us uneasy --There was only one dishwashing tablet, so staying more than one night you need to buy more --The beds were horribly, horribly squeaky. DO NOT choose this property if you have light sleepers. One of the bunk beds was too squeaky to use at all until someone realized it wasn't screwed together tightly enough, which he then fixed himself. The other beds are stuck the way they are. --It seemed like some of the beds had not been touched in a very long time. While they did not look used, they looked neglected and dirty. --The bathroom door was super hard to close. Hard enough that most of us did not even attempt to latch it.

Everything we needed

This was convenient for us because of its close location to Loghaven Art Residency, which our daughter and son-in-law live by. It was also the only place available when we booked so late to our trip. Overall, it met all of our needs and the price was fair for the place. I knew that the neighborhood was a little unsavory, but we never felt like our safety was in jeopardy (but I'm old and had my husband, dad, and mom staying with me; I would not stay here as a single female or even group of young females). At first I thought I smelled cigarette smoke, but later realized that it comes in through the HVAC system is someone is smoking outside at a neighboring unit. We weren't there very much as we had lots of graduation weekend activities to attend, so it worked good for a place to sleep, shower, and eat a quick breakfast. The pillows were all flat and uncomfortable, even when stacking two together. The rooster and train were not an issue for us, but some may be bothered by the noise.

Overall it was nice

As we arrived a day late, our place wasnt even cleaned. Dirty towels in the rooms and bath rooms, dirty dishes, and beds not made. I did contact Sheila and sjr did make housekeeping come. But i had already cleaned it up. Communication was excellent. I did ask to stay an extra night but was expected to pay another cleaning fee when our place wasnt cleaned to begin with, so unfortunately we decided to just not stay!

Well kept, inconsiderate request

I was notified within days of my stay that the folks already there would like to stay longer. Rather than letting those folks know that it was already rented and that this would not be possible, I was contacted and told that they wanted to stay longer. As I had a reservation for the property, it is unclear to me why the owner thought that I should be contacted about this rather than simply telling the folks making the irregular request that it would not be possible because there was a reservation with another guest.

Railroad Tracks Out Front!

We were awoken in the middle of the night by the train! The area where the rental is located is a bit run down and sketchy. It was the lost impersonal rental experience ever. No personal message from the owner, even though I sent a personal message. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The decor and furnishings are very dated. The air conditioner is automatically set by the owner remotely. You can’t lower the temperature to your preference. Overall, the rental was ok for the price.

Great place to stay for a UT weekend

Awesome place too stay. Very clean and quiet area. Some buddies and I came for a UT football game and it was a perfect place to stay. Very close to Downtown and UT’s campus. I would definitely stay here again.

A nice stay in Knoxville

Clean, close to the action, and a nice place to stay overall. My group goes to big ears festival every year and would definitely consider this property again if it’s available. A great experience overall!

Volleyball tournament
