Skipton, ’Gateway to the Dales’, has a thriving town centre with a large variety of shops, restaurants, pubs and tea rooms, a Medieval castle and canal along which boat trips can be taken. It is also host to a market four days a week. Picturesque Grassington, is only 15 minutes drive with Wensleydale, Swaledale and Ribblesdale all within an hours drive.

We had a lovely break, we were made very welcome.
We had a lovely break, we were made very welcome. The cottage is perfectly located, convenient for the town and the dales. The accommodation was ideal and we could not fault it. It was great value for money. We have booked to go back which says it all.
